Sleep Inn Erie near Sports Center

Location

The hotel was rated an 8.1 star level which made me assume it would be a really nice hotel. It appeared old inside. There was an odd smell of in the hallway. The room was not as clean as expected. There were crumbs on the floor around the fridge.

Although it is on a busy street, the room was quiet, and we were able to sleep well.

The room was a bit small (single queen) but had everything we needed for one night. Rooms in Erie are almost always a bit pricey so chose the least expensive of the available hotels/rooms.

Breakfast was adequate. Hotel in general was very quiet.

We did not like the rom size. The hotel could use a refresh. A lot of general cosmetic maintenance needs done. The cleanliness of the room was fine except for the carpeting which was sticky. Common areas could have been cleaner.

Beds were so comfy & clean. Breakfast was well above average: eggs; sausage; cereal; coffee, orange juice, etc; yogurt; fruit; waffles; bread; etc. Staff were incredible with a complication that was my fault - they were patient and accommodating.

The Keurig in the lobby and the friendliness/consideration of the staff. They provided a welcome package at check in.

Our room was close to the lobby/hotel check in area.

Hotels cleanliness, Breakfast and Safety. Perfect for one day Stay.

We stayed four days but room cleaning was done only one day after multiple followups. They should clean atleast two days once when people are staying for longer duration.

Great location and price for a quick overnight stop on the road. Comfortable room and bed. Check in gift was nice (water bottle and snacks).

Shower could have been cleaner.

The location and price. The staff was very friendly

The shower was clogged and backed up. They did not have anyone to fix it and I was too tired to request a different room. It was clear from mold growth it was not a new problem. I will check hotels in the future.

There was no way to turn on the shower without getting soaked, and then it was scalding hot. So I had to stand under the hot water in order to reach the handle to turn it down.

Rate and location

Top quilt made and tucked in but sheets underneath were completely pulled out

Very clean as the reviews indicated

The heat made it feel like a sauna even at the lowest setting 61. Room was on the small side but it was fine for just the two of us to sleep two nights

Grass area and comfortable seating and music in lobby

Sensitive skin and allergies to possibly the bleach in bed sheets. Small ringing from mini fridge but was no big deal

Location and cleanliness. Bed was comfy.

The staff. were extremely pleasant and thre room was clean plus the breakfast was good

The room was small

Dirty. Hotel smelled like weed and needed a good scrub & vacuum

This was by far the best hotel of our three week vacation. The room was "compact" but extremely efficient, clean and comfortable. The staff was extremely gracious - even the guests in the lobby - and there were cookies!! Very nice experience.

This hotel was inexpensive but extremely clean with updated, modern rooms, and a very friendly staff. We were very impressed!

The bed was comfortable, the staff were absolutely lovely, breakfast was very nice. The whole place was clean.

The room was a little on the small side.

Comfortable bed. New bathroom.

The room had an odd smell.
