Hampton Inn Clarks Summit/Scranton

The hotel was extremely clean. The breakfast had fresh cut up fruit and freshly made oatmeal.

A minor issue: the hotel is pet friendly but there?s no place to walk the dog other than the parking lot.

Clean, up-to-date, excellent and helpful staff, good breakfast.

I like the location.

The room was freezing! And the heater did not work properly. The bathroom was also dirty.

The check out staff on 08/25/2023, staff, is either rude or racist. She locked the restrooms in the lobby around 12pm because she didn¿t want us to use it after we checked out our rooms. She consistently gave us the attitude.

Front desk was very helpful. They offered continental breakfast and had an attendant keeping the space clean.

Very friendly front desk. Rooms clean and neat. Location has a grocery store next to it for snacks and drinks. Sheetz gas station 1 block away. Overall a good place to stay.

I loved the details from the cleaning staff. Beautifully folded towels, shower curtain and tissues.

It was nearly double the price as the Hampton 1 week earlier near Pittsburg...which had a king bed and more floor space your stretching.

The motel was very clean, the staff was pleasant, the food bar was clean well laid out and very tasty. I am always impressed with Hampton Inn and this did not let me down. I will be returning when I come back to the area. Thank you.

Staff was very friendly.

Parking near the main entrance was limited. When I came back to the hotel late at night I had to park in the back and walk to the front.

I would recommend this hotel. The staff was really nice and helpful. The room was perfect clean. The area has soo many Restaurants, banks and gas station.. Its a perfect place to get away for a weekend.

I think there should be cold water available in the fitness center. Not warm water in bottles. Put a fridge in there!

Professional and courteous service. Very clean. Additionally, I was given the room on the day of my arrival early, around 1:30 pm which was most appreciated due to my tiredness of driving.Note: I did not reduce my positive rating above due to the below described problem experienced the day of my travel - - - - thou I could have and, maybe, should have.

I got a phone call the day of my arrival on June 6, 2025 that my credit card was not accepted and that I had until 12:00 pm EST to correct this, otherwise, I would lose this - incredible since I had made the reservation on April 1, 2025 and it was confirmed!!! I had to pull off the road to contact the hotel and provide another credit card. Somehow, the hotel had an old credit card which had been compromised and had to be replaced.

Staff was professional and friendly. Breakfast was delicious. Gym was clean and convenient.

Very clean and the bed was comfortable! They had a nice breakfast in the morning the only thing I didn’t care for was you could hear the room next door tv.
