AC Hotel Pittsburgh Southpointe

Everything about this hotel was wonderful! It was new and modern, great atmosphere, clean, and exceeded my expectations. There are multiple restaurant options within a 1 minute walk and the grounds were beautiful and well taken care of.

Easy to find with my GPS, but off the beaten path. Very small and compact room but very clean.

Even though there was a VERY loud concert going on at the entry doors,,, I couldn¿t hear a thing in my room. A very pleasant surprise.

Great location, lots of parking, kind and courteous staff

Our room was never cleaned while we were there. I had to call for clean towels. We were in town for my daughters wedding and we came back between festivities to a dirty room. It was a little upsetting!!

The breakfast was horrible. Expecting a hot breakfast like the picture shows and we barely got muffins.

There was an error with my reservation and they canceled my room without contacting me and I had nowhere to stay. I was there for a conference and it was very difficult to find another hotel.

Room 408. It sounded like we were below a staircase and constantly heard footsteps. It went on through out the night and greatly affected our sleep. Would not recommend

Clean hotel, bathroom was not a great set up for a couple.No privacy. Seems like more of a business traveler room.Reception staff were friendly and helpful.

Bartenders (female) were rude and one was combative and should not be working at a Bonvoy.

There was no breakfast served. Staff was helpful. Rooms very clean.

The room technology is just excellent. And the use of space remarkable. The shower great, except that a wet door leaves a lot of water on the outside. The GSA at arrival was more than friendly and helpful. The lobby, lounge - bar design just marvelous. With a little effort this could be almost a 4 stars hotel.

Improve your snack. The hummus is rather strange! Asked if served b’fast, the waitress told had to checked. And then came with the hour 6:30 to 10 am, what she forgot to mention it was not a breakfast. In am we went straight to lounge/bar, and nobody around, I went into kitchen, and then were told that the f’fast was served from the F.D.. What an abominable b’fast. How can you charge for coffee, when there is a coffee machine in the room but no supplies. Better remove the machine, after all you are not that busy. The table with the b’fast offerings is just next to the G.M. Office, and I wonder if he/she ever tried to eat these soggy croissants!Rather serve bagel or muffin. Don’t play the French way, when the service, presentation of the croissant is inadequate.Regarding room the only critic is the mattress. Probably excellent for young people, but certainly too hard for a senior. Other remark, while in lobby I like to check what is around, and there was a glass door that I pushed, and to my surprise there was a business meeting. Please have a “sticker” plate indicating “Occupied” or something along those lines. With a rather low occupancy you must have time to figure out those glitches.
