Hampton Inn Portland Airport

Having just stayed at Hampton inn 30 mi away, the bed was not as comfortable. And being next to the airport, it had the anticipated noise from planes taking off.

Clean! Front desk ladies very nice. Breakfast, excellent. Shuttle timely. Perfect Hampton!

Convenience to the airport - the free shuttle. Clean, well-lit.

There was an unusual smell in the room. I'm not sure if it was on purpose or not. It wasn't necessarily bad, but it was as if something was sprayed to cover up a musty odor and it was fairly strong.

Close to the airport, clean, accessible.

Pay to park, and it seems very old. Way over priced.

Modern, in excellent shape. Like that we could walk to next hotel and get a discount on lunch. Great idea!

A bit scary when early morning flight sounded like it was going through the hotel. Nothing bad about the hotel itself.

The front entrance has a rug in front of the admit desk Thais very dirty and stained.. it need to be changed more often..

Don't like room right next to non-mainstream exit, but room fairly close to non-mainstream exit.

The Breakfast is great for a hotel breakfast, the shuttle to the airport was the best we have ever used, fast and prompt. The staff is great here also.

Some carpets could have used a good cleaning.

Planes can be a bit noisy, but I didn't really mind.

Having to pay for parking

The interior was very nice despite the outside of the hotel looking older.

Wish there was some mention of parking charge during booking process. The bathroom floor was not clean by the tub.

Although I could see the runway from the room, I CV would not hear any air traffic at all. I was pleasantly surprised with this.

Friendly staff

$15 per day, per vehicle to park. We had two vehicles and I could see charging a fee per room but not vehicle.

Easy access to shopping and airport.

The website said free parking, but the hotel charged me $15.00 per night. I am not sure who to contact about this.

Quiet and peaceful.

The fact that they were not upfront about the parking. The listing should say " must pay for parking" $ 15 a night.

The view included Mt. Hood. Shuttle drivers helpful. When we arrived at the airport and realized we forgot an iPhone, the person at the desk went to check our room and retrieved it. We were helped with clear directions when we wanted to go to dinner.

Very nice stay. Rooms are clean . Breakfast was excellent. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Basic hotel but the beds are very comfortable.

It was close to the airport and easy to get to. Despite being next to the airport it was quiet. Getting to rental return was easy. Printing boarding passes was free. Clerk helped find a gas station.
