City Center Inn Downtown Portland

Everything. Stayed at alot of the "fancier" downtown and this place has become our family's go to when we stay in Portland for the last several years. Staff is awesome and it's affordable and the location is great.

Location and price. Room was decent, comfortable and clean. Staff was friendly.

No coffee in room. Only available mornings in lobby. No breakfast was served. Checkout time 11am instead of stated 12pm. Additional $10 charge for parking.

A very smelly and dirty place, the reception is like those of WWII motels where you feel uncomfortable, went into the room and the strong smell is there, pulled the sheets of bed and guess what... Bed bugs, my skin crawled and I couldn't stay, I ran...

Very clean and quiet. No sign of any stains or bugs, no dust! The location is very convenient to many amenities such as a cafe, food trucks, and CVS.

The interior security ball lock mount was cracked in half and all of the screws were loose, the smoke detector had a garbage and ziplock bag over it (no odors though), most importantly though there was no coffee maker in the room lol.

GREAT value for the money. Clean, quiet, excellent hosts.

I didn't score them higher because a laminate floor tile had lifted and I caught my foot on it. Otherwise the room, location, helpful and kind hosts were excellent. I will recommend this location often.

They accept Cash and don't have a deposit

The owner/manager is a prick when it comes to the checkout time extending the stay.

The staff was rude the room Was small and the deposit was alot higher plus had to pay for parking and the breakfast was a joke

The manager hours the extra mile to make my stay great. He dug my car out of the snow and pushed me out so I could leave after a snow storm and I left extra early.

Didn't have breakfast like they said. The "free wifi" did not work even though the entire motel was tiny and we were right next to the office. Only had a super thin blanket.

Location is great

It says there is a fitness center. That is not accurate. There is not one. The lobby is locked most of the time and coffee and continental breakfast is non existent unless on the weekends and then it¿s only for an hour.

It was walkable to the water, restaurants, a farmer's market, downtown, etc. It had parking, the room was clean with no carpet, and the staff was very nice.

Location Arrived late and food trucks nearby open until very late. One night we picked up food after midnight. We didn't have neighbors on either side, so it was very quiet and comfortable. It could be that hotel was not full for end of August.

No free parking and no elevator.

Very clean. Updated rooms, but no carpet (which made it eve cleaner). Very polite staff and within walking distance of campus and light rail stops. Good value if you just need a convenient place to stay without any frills.

Poor soundproofing. I could hear voices and laughter next door. They weren¿t being overly loud ¿ just thin walls!

It was in a good location with nice staff and food carts next door.

The room smelled strongly of Curry which is okay but makes you wonder. The shower had a weird head so it was leaking water everywhere and we had to be very conscious of that when we showered.

I liked the food trucks right across the street. And the guy working at front desk was helpful and went out of his way to help us park .

Do not stay here with children. During our two night stay in this location there was 4 911 calls to the hotel. Cops and fire trucks everyday. We even got a bonus of a shooting two blocks away. We were also accosted by the homeless. Don¿t stay downtown.

Yes very much so..the bedbugs! Disgusting. This provided a very uneasy nights sleep which was unfortunate on a cross country trip. Never again with the Econo lodge downtown Portland. BEWARE.
