The Portlander Inn and Marketplace

I love everything about Portlander Inn! Whenever I plan a "staycation" for myself, I always come here! Staff is always helpful and friendly, Beds are comfortable (Lots of pillows too!), Rooms are clean, Plus they have so many things to do here, I rarely need to leave! I've tried the food at Moe's deli, Cascade grill, and cocktail drinks at Ponderosa and they were all good! They also have a breakfast voucher you can either take to their 24 hr. market for a "To-go" type breakfast or take it to Cascade grill and you can pick a breakfast option that's listed on the voucher until 10am. They have a movie theater with showtimes at 12pm, 3pm, & 7pm. Oh and there is poker machines at both Moe's deli and Ponderosa. Need your clothes washed? They have laundry services too! Lol There's a few other things to do here, but I can't remember exactly what.

I don't have any complaints.. well except the single elevator available is slow (is that even a complaint?) Lol

This place is much more than a hotel. With a deli, 2 restaurants (one a bar), a market and a theater there is much more to entertain yourself here. I had a concert to attend, but my husband had stayed at the hotel and was entertained for sure. Also if you need any snacks, food or even some medicine you just pop downstairs. They also have lot security, so that made me feel better about the location. The room is pretty average in size along with the bathroom. There is a TV as well.

The location is unfortunately going downhill (Portland in general) over the last 5 years or so. They do have security, so that gave me piece of mind. The beds were a little on the stiff side, but they can make a bed that pleases everyone! The showerhead could use some improvement, and I wish there was a handheld attachment. There is breakfast included, and you get to pick from a list from the restaurant. The selection is limited and narrowed down for each plate (not rounded). You can pick from the main menu and get a discount though.

I was leary of the location, given what I've seen in the surrounding area. I was pleasantly surprised to find a clean, quiet, comfortable hotel. All amenities were right there in the same building. The breakfast was great! The room was very spacious; the bed was comfortable; the whole place was clean. It felt safe to travel as a single woman. My room was right next to my co-worker, which was very convenient.

The shower pressure was just okay & the shower head was aimed a little too much to toward the wall (room 418) so I had to hug the wall to get my body under the stream. The water took a bit to warm up, too. For some reason my phone did not get good reception in the hotel (but it's an Android, so who knows what was going on there). The remote stopped working & I couldn't figure it out.

Good hotel, excellent room, wonderful administrators

The breakfast was terrible. That was the only thing that spoiled our impression.

Comfortable room and beds, large refrigerator, a one-stop-shop complex of hotel, restaurant, small grocery store, postal service shop, deli, bar, gas station, vehicle services - a delight for truckers and visitors who stay and want everything in one location

Remote location, kind of a generic feel to the rooms

Great value for money. Room price included a sumptuous breakfast. Lots of services under the same roof, as this was a truck stop as well. Clean rooms.

The only downside was a remote location in a warehouse and trucking area.

Breakfast was included and was not a buffet. Instead you get to choose from a small menu that is made to order. Generous portions. Room is clean and there is a 50 inch TV at the end of the bed. Enjoyed watching the NBA playoff that night. Parking is easy, free, and felt very secure.
