Comfort Inn Newport

The room was up to date! Comfortable bed, newer big tv.

The room smelled like cat piss. (Room was clean). The walls/ceiling super thin. Don’t expect to sleep in. Sounded like a heard of elephants about us and out side the door from about 6 a.m till we left.

The location was convenient

The breakfast was lackluster and lacking selection and items were not replenished as well as other comfort inns

It was affordable, close to the ocean, close to the event we were attending, the bed was comfortable, staff was pleasant and accomodating

The bathroom was the size of a small closet. The food selection was minimal; after the first day we chose to not partake in their breakfast options. The elevator was not working. The exercise room smelled like a tire store and was not tolerable.

Friendly helpful staff! Clean clean clean. Close to a great resturant.

Very comfortable bed and good shower

They were using a paint treatment on the exterior that gave me a head ache. In the room, the remote did not work/match with channels.

The smell of hotel room. The pillows smelled bad. It smelled of sweaty old man.

Mind, cheerful helpful employees. Plus the best mattress I?ve ever experienced. Relieved all my aches & pains. Amazing!

No table to eat on in room. Did not allow breakfast food to be taken to Ur room

VERY average hotel, especially for the price. Over $--- a night (with taxes). Absolutely not worth it. This is not a 2.5 star hotel. Beds were fine, rooms were clean enough, but the free breakfast was bland, the walls extremely thin, very loud pipes.

Rooms were small, accommodations lacking, and everything quite dated.

The room was very good, the breakfast was very good. We were there for a wedding in Newport during a very bad ice storm. The few that got to Newport for the wedding met at the Comfort Inn and had the wedding there because everything else was closed.

The power kept going on and off so they closed the elevator so no one would get stuck on it. This was just good management.

Close to the beach and on a quiet street. Front desk was friendly and asked if we preferred a ground floor or 3rd floor room. Fresh cookies too! Very clean and happy with fresh crisp white bedding. Enjoyed sunset view w/ bit of ocean view in 3rd flr rm

The continental breakfast was pretty basic. It would have been great to have more vegan/vegetarian options, and an alternative milk available.

Breakfast is amazing. Room is comfortable. Staff is friendly.

The hallways smell funny. Stains on carpet in room. And they didn't clean our room. Were not dirty people so it was ok but a little disappointing.

Great location near Nye Beach, less than a mile walk to Bayfront, clean rooms, friendly staff, easy free parking

Shower hot water would intermittently run out which was annoying, after a few moments hot water would return. Wifi internet service could use an update, it uses an unencrypted network and is limited to 8 Mbit which is not really fast enough in 2023

Hotel staff member, Chris was pleasant and friendly upon check-in. They were cookies baking and I commented on them. He told me when they were ready and followed through with a hot fresh cookie on time!

Nothing! The hotel was clean, close to the beach, and very comfortable. Will stay again!

I was pleasantly surprised that our room had an ocean view! Everything was clean and easy.

Continental breakfast is good but the time is not. It start at 6:30 am to 9:30 p.m. At least extend it to 10:00 am or do 7:00 am starting time.

The room that was assigned to us is not justifiable for the amount I paid. The door doesn't latch properly and there is no view other than the dirty roof. They need not to assign customer to Room 216 until the door is fixed and the roof is clean unless

Ecerything was good. The rooms were fairly large and were great as was the staff. The breakfast was tasty and the food was well prepared.
