Pros +
- Good location, simple room, but clean.
- We always stay here for the night before or after a flight. Clean, with a well working mini refrigerator with freezer. The owners seem really nice and seem to care about their property which while appearing older, is very well maintained with updated rooms. Will stay here again.
- We always stay at Downtown Inn when we're in Eugene. Great folks who run the hotel.
Cons -
- The WiFi was very slow, and if it wasn’t for using my own hotspot, work would not have been able to happen.
- The price was a little high, but this was primarily due to Oregon Ducks football playing at home over the weekend I was there. That said, looking at the regular price, it did feel a little high to me.

I loved the Downtown Inn’s location, which is a short walk from the Amtrak station in Eugene, and very close to many downtown bars, coffee houses, and restaurants.The rooms are a nice size and the beds are comfortable. Staff are lovely and welcoming, and the rooms were clean, tidy, and very well maintained. I didn’t have a car on this trip, but parking facilities were excellent if you are driving.
The price was a little high, but this was primarily due to Oregon Ducks football playing at home over the weekend I was there. That said, looking at the regular price, it did feel a little high to me.
