Sugarloaf Mountain Motel

Right of main road, good appearance, friendly staff, great room, clean, very nice toiletries, ?ots of choices for breakfast, overall great place.

Cheap, good room and continental breakfast

Morning front desk staff just OK. Not the friendliest.

Really nice staff members, pet friendly policy, breakfast was decent, nightly price was good, reasonable cleanliness and location was good.

Facilities were needing upkeep.

The room had updated flooring.

When we first walked into the room it had a bad smell.

Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Broken clock in the room, two queen beds with two shower towels and one washcloth. No hand towels.

It was clean and comfortable.

Had a problem getting into my room so they had to move me to another room after remaking keys.

There were no towels in r swimming area. When I asked for towels, I was given too few for our needs. I was given only one towel for my room despite having four occupants. The breakfast was unstocked and we were given only cereal and a few waffles. Again, not enough for the four of us

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were nice and clean.We enjoyed our stay.

New sink area

Bathroom was nasty with pee on the wall. Red blood stain in the sink. Carpet was not vacuumed. Hardwood floors were nasty. Beds seemed like they were just made and not cleaned. Holes in the blankets. Stairs and hallways are nasty and not cleaned at all. Staff was nice though.

I would have liked more variety at breakfast. We had holes in our towels.

Great staff! The location is close to Tumalo Park and shopping. Aside from a few cracks in the ceiling and bathroom floor, the room was in pretty good shape with a comfortable bed.

The Refrigerator door was difficult to open on the carpet. Breakfast was average. The sausage was good but the only fruit option was canned peaches.

Breakfast was mediocre atbest but our room was very quiet. We had two queens but one of the queens had some visible hair and a stain on the one beds

The staff was very helpful and informative. The best idea, was the plastic draw string bag for the ice!!! The breakfast room was clean and the staff person was friendly. She smiled and made eye contact with her guests. She was busy making sure the breakfast room was clean and the guests were fed and happy. She did a great job and she should be told so!

Everything was great.

The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the pool heated well. I loved the pool.

The motel desk clerk was trying to be funny until it got annoying. She did not live in Bend and knew nothing about the area.

The free breakfast was decent with multiple options. The room was not the most updated, but was very clean. For a quick trip it wasn’t bad. And it was close to the freeway and a convenience store!

The person at check-in needs to learn the appropriate time to discuss “Minor Attracted Persons” tattoos that say “Never back down”. It was disturbing and made myself and my husband extremely uncomfortable being as we were there with our children! The person was not pleasant and did not disclose the extra deposit that was charged. And when asked about the deposit was defensive. This interaction is what lowered the rating overall!

The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The room was clean and affordable and met all our needs for a one night stay. The pool was an added bonus.

They have a great breakfast and the location is quiet and close to town.

Nothing went well.

I had booked a room at this hotel through Booking.com weeks in advance, and I advised I would be arriving late, which was accepted by the hotel. However, when I arrived at about 10 PM, the staff on duty advised that they were overbooked (by seven rooms, I think) and they blamed Booking.com, but I suspect they had resold the room at a higher price. The staff offered no help to find a room at another hotel and said I needed to contact Booking.com for help. I tried calling Booking.com but got no answer, so I started searching myself and I finally found a room at another hotel at a higher price. The front desk of the hotel seemed very disorganized with piles of paper everywhere. Given the experience, I would never stay at this hotel, and I'm even wondering whether I can rely on Booking.com for future hotel reservations.

Not a bad hotel, only there to sleep, breakfast decent.

Hotel is date. Older facilities and rooms. Missing some modern amenities. Room was clean, staff incredibly friendly, location near everything but its Bend so you do have to drive or Uber to get anywhere.
