Pros +
- I loved how spacious the room was, the bed was comfortable and the shower was awesome.
- Very clean and amazing location right on the river. We walked across the bridge to Anthony's which was great. The breakfast set up was really nice and clean. Secure parking lot right on site.
- The location was pretty good but very car congested with no traffic lights or stop signs. But lots of roundabout which I don’t like. The “free” breakfast, not really free, was appreciated but far from gourmet quality. The shower was decent and having a pool and a small exercise center were nice. The beds which seemed as stiff as a park bench didn’t leave me with a back ache.
Cons -
- Nothing everything was great. Loved it
- We arrived after a nonstop six hour drive from San Francisco and my 65+ year old dad needed to run in to use the restroom. The "receptionist" asked if he was a guest to which he responded yes but had not checked in yet; she continued to question him instead of allowing him to use the restroom and figuring it out afterwards. She claimed that many runners use the bathroom there - so what! I suggest management focus on allowing their staff to provide welcoming, human service rather than meticulously policing the bathroom and "welcoming" guests that way. That change could easily make this a 10/10.
- I’ll get to the point. The room price was crazy expensive. Honestly Bend is somewhat of a tourist trap city so everything here is very expensive including hotels and food. This was my first and probably my last time in Bend. For the $350 per night cost I could have stayed at The Four Seasons Hotel. On top of the room charge they held my credit card for a $30 incidental charge. Bookings.com really needs to take look at this and update the quote they provide to their customers. This oversight left a bad taste in my mouth.

It was very nice and clean.
We didn’t know about the concert venue next door. It made our room shake.
