    Cons -

    • Breakfast...when we checked in we were told the breakfast hours...nothing was mentioned about cost. Neither was there anything on the website related to cost. We had a partial breakfast,no eggs and cold food and we're billed almost $50.00 for leftovers
    • The room was absolutely disgusting. I will always be a person who whips down my hotel room, and it was enough to make you want to leave. Dusty, not a single deep clean seems to happen here.
    • This is a 4 star hotel, but it was no way more than a 2 star hotel. I was checked into a room which was already occupied by someone else. Balcony door is rusted and handles were cracked. Chairs in the balcony and room are not in usable state.

Location and service, front desk is always friendly and Chuck the bartender always remembers us when we return.

There were a lot of people due to a couple of reunions so the pool was packed the first day

    5Verified guestPosted on: 5-7-2025

I've stayed there several times and the staff are very helpful, it just frustraing that they are trying to sweep this under the rug so to speak!

The room next to us had a huge argument with several people that lasted a couple of hours and at one point I thought the was going to be gun fire, the staff down stairs said there were several complaints but the hotel denies it even happened.

Historic aspects, hidden away, pool area

What I liked best about the hotel was the respectful and helpful staff, the location was in a residential area away from the highway and busy streets, and the linens on the bed. Our room was upgraded to a larger room with a wonderful 8th-floor view.

Based on the hotel's history and its quality reputation, I anticipated a higher-end breakfast buffet. We ordered from the menu, the eggs benedict which did not have the sauce available, so we ordered the All American Breakfast.

    Bed was soft.

The shower leaked into the hallway. Went down to try to see if we could use the hot tub, and it was disgusting.Look to have mold growing in it.

    10KathyPosted on: 7-6-2024

It was in a very quiet location. We never heard any noise from our room. There was a Restaurant and Bar in the Lobby.

The couch and toilet were very low Profile. Would advise someone with Mobility/arthritis request a Handicap room.

    The staff was wonderful.

We were put in a room That was moldy an had strong smell They did move us to a room the next day. we went to the restaurant for coffee and was served cold coffee. Try to use the ice bucket to get ice and there was trash inside it. $---. A night.??

The location is great, very close to our daughters house. The staff is always friendly and helpful.

Smelled like sewer, none of the amenities were working, no hot water at times, very loud crashing noise throughout the whole night, locked out of room due to door being broken resulting in it being disassembled and not being able to leave the room

    Car valet was upper nice!

Horribly rude staff. Hotel did not honor our reservation and refused to do anything to help. Front desk supervisor thought it funny. Said this happens all the time. Air conditioning did not work. 30+ years of travel - worst experience I have ever had.

    8BenjaminPosted on: 7-24-2023

Super nice room that stayed plenty cold. The person that checked us in was super cool and someone else even brought us up some water.

The pool was used during the day and towels were left everywhere.. Thought someone should've cleaned the pool area so peeps at night could have a nice place to hang. But not a huge deal.

    7RebeccaPosted on: 3-21-2023

Hotel and room were nice, clean, and comfortable.

The only issue was that there isn¿t much soundproofing. I was kept up until 12:30 AM by people talking in rooms on both side of me and in the hall, and then awoken early by the same.

    10KortinaPosted on: 3-10-2023

Check in was a breeze. An older gentleman checked us in and he was so nice and welcoming. The hotel is very stylish and clean.

    10JohnPosted on: 1-27-2023

Location is great and the staff are always accommodating to me needs, I would recommend this hotel to anyone that needs to be around the Nichols Hills area.
