Staybridge Suites Columbus-Airport By IHG

Before Booking, i called to make sure they had a shuttle service to the airport, i was told yes they did and it was free. In the morning the clerk told me they did not have a shuttle and I had to call a cab and pay for it.

Breakfast with some amazing scones and variety of choices! Staff was also excellent!

Not quite far enough out of Columbus to not have to worry about vehicles getting broken into BUT definitely would choose this over any of the others I have stayed at in the area.

The staff was nice

The pool was closed. We were not aware of that. I guess it had been closed for two years. That would have been nice to know. The room above us so loud and we found ants in our room. We had to be moved the next day. We should have just left then.

It was quite!

The hotel is old in need of major updates. There was water damage walls, broken dirty air vents, hair in the refrigerator and freezer. None of the 3 phones works(which the hotel was aware of), the bed sham was filthy, the couch had several stains.

Clean and close to airport

Shuttle did not run to or from airport. Only 1 towel and wash cloth in the room. Lotion was empty and not replaced.

2 room suite with doors

No soundproof whatsoever. We heard weird noise all night like someone was climbing rickety stairs and playing basketball at the same time. Also it was chilly at night but we could not adjust temperature to go above 72 degrees.

Great price. Clean rooms. Nice and warm pool.

The oatmeal was very watery.

Loved they had 2 bedroom suites at great price. Worked perfectly for two families (mom/son get away).

Wasn't the cleanest. Needs updated couch in the living area - gross. The other areas need a deep cleaning in corners, but overall was def clean enough to stay in.

Location was easy to access. Plane could occasionally be heard overhead but did not personally find bothersome.

Carpet and furniture were old and filthy. Same for the pool, with grime and debris not cleaned out. Breakfast was lacking and not up to a typical Staybridge or equivalent, and poorly restocked by staff.

Our Air Conditioner leaked so our carpet was soaking wet, there was no soap in the bathroom, the room smelled mildewed, plus they charged my card 3 times for the room and then tried to argue with me about it.

Pool , cookout and bonfire

I have stayed here before and I was excited this time I wasn¿t phone didn¿t work toilet wasn¿t working and pool was shut down for molar my stay and when finally opened couldn¿t go due to to many kids being in pool hopefully better next time I stay there

The room was clean.

The staff upon check was rude and accused my son of stealing. He was taking his blankets and pillows that we had with us back to the car, and the front desk clerk questioned him. After about 5 minutes, she let let him leave, after confirming my name.

The COVID protocols were great! This hotel is very clean, family friendly and close to the airport. The swimming is open and allows 10 people. They also have a basketball court for the kids. The kids loved it!

Location, size of room

Hallways were way too cold!! Would be nice if the pool area could be open to the outdoors too. Stuffy there.

You can access the interstate very easily. Although you can hear the planes, they don't have flights at night so you can sleep peacefully. Their grounds, landscaping, gazebo, basketball court is extremely nice, and their breakfast was delicious and hot.

Their breakfast was awesome, although their choice of news stations on their television sets wasn't.

I liked the up to date decor and the central courtyard.

Part of the price includes the lovely, well equiped kitchen. If you do not need a kitchen,this might not be the best choice.

The upper floor was noisy because kids were running and you could literally here them almost coming through the ceiling. It's however not a big deal since it's quiet at night. Nice basketball court and gazebo
