Very clean; the entire hotel, not just the room. The staff were friendly and very attentive. You can’t beat the location. You’re in walking distance of a lot of sightseeing places. The breakfast was also delicious and the dining rooms were beautiful.
There’s no microwave in the room, rather a communal one by the ice machine. Not really an issue since it’s kept clean. And a tiny thing, no smart TV. But using the TV guide channels honestly felt kind of nostalgic so I ended up not minding.

Excellent location, lovely house, wonderful art on the walls. Loved walking to the art museum. Friendly and kind staff.
Pillows! Round and hard and huge. Breakfast was standard-issue chain hotel food. Expected higher-quality breads and pastries.

This hotel was wonderful. I like the historic nature. And it’s in a great neighborhood. Breakfast included with lots of choices. There is also a small bar downstairs that is open at night. Clean rooms and very friendly staff.
Small parking lot. Might be hard to find a spot when they have a lot of guests.

The location is peerless. The hotel is quiet on weeknights and the rooms are good-sized.
The value was poor and we were disappointed that they now charge for parking! That seemed like disrespect to regular customers who drive from other parts of the US. The breakfast was dull, the coffee was cold, and there were few amenities.

Very charming hotel. Old world traditional. Very clean. Staff was very friendly and welcoming.
Parking is tight. Not too many spaces which was the only downside.

A lovely small hotel in a great location. It's upscale in a classy way without the self important atmosphere.
Too bad the bar is closed on Sundays.

I loved everything about this hotel. The room was clean and fresh. The bed was clean and comfortable. The hotel is in a fantastic location, walkable to so much. The decor inside is interesting, with "real" artwork. All of the employees we encountered were welcoming, helpful, and friendly. In the evening, we were able to grab drinks from the bar and enjoy them outside at a table on the patio with the twinkly lights. The breakfast was good (eggs, potatoes, sausage, fruit, oatmeal, toast, muffins, etc), and it was lovely to be able to enjoy breakfast in the older rooms of the original mansion. The grounds were beautifully maintained. Everything was comfortable and manageable and relaxed. The parking was easy and convenient. Check-in and check-out went smoothly. Really -- Great job!!! I would happily stay again!
Next time I will try to get down to the breakfast earlier, when it's hottest and freshest.
