This InterContinental has a direct connection to the Cleveland Clinic, which is unbeatable for hospital patients. In addition, the hotel offers good facilities, spacious rooms, and very attentive service. In our case, both the breakfast staff and the front desk team were extremely helpful with everything we needed. We stayed at the hotel for almost a week, and it also offers a complimentary shuttle to the Fairfax Market, which is owned by the Cleveland Clinic. It is clear that the hotel understands that, due to its relationship with the Cleveland Clinic, many of its guests are patients; therefore, the humane, friendly, and attentive treatment was always present. This does not mean that there aren’t other types of guests, but everyone benefits from the excellent service.
The breakfast is somewhat limited, especially the buffet. The à la carte option is better, but it comes at an additional cost. I suggest allowing guests to choose at least one à la carte dish included with the buffet, which would significantly improve the overall offering, particularly the breakfast experience.Regarding housekeeping, for some reason we had to repeatedly remind them to clean the room. This aspect needs to be improved immediately.

The location was nicely located near where I was going. Staff very helpful and friendly. Beautiful hotel.
I asked for a receipt for my stay and when I got it it wasn’t any room rate information on it. I wasn’t able to make sure my room charges were correct. I hope everything is correct.

Room was clean. Bed was comfortable.
Toilet was not cleaned fully, After lifting the toilet seat it appeared to be diarrhea splatter under the seat.

Absolutely beautiful hotel and the staff was excellent.
The only complaint I have is the pillows are down feathers and are to soft. Glad I brought my own. But other than that it was a great stay.

Skyway made it exceptionally easy to walk from the hotel to Cleveland Clinic without going outside. To access the walkway, all you needed to do was take the elevator in the hotel to the 3rd floor and walk out the hotel doors to the walkway. About a 5 minute walk to the main campus Bldg. The hospital staff drove golf carts across the skyway, giving rides to whoever couldn't make the short walk. If you are going to Cleveland Clinic, this really is worth the higher nightly fees for convenience and peace of mind. No worrying about parking, weather or security. The skyway is a main travel corridor between the main campus and bldg A, so it is always occupied, clean, climate controlled and very safe. The hotel has a fine dining restaurant and bar, another breakfast and lunch restaurant and an extensive 24 hour room service menu. Great food! The hotel is also extremely high quality as are the rooms. Highly recommend.

Reason to stay here is, of course, that it is connected to the buildings of the Cleveland Clinic. Rooms are large, well appointed, and clean. Club Level amenities are a real plus since most guests never leave the CC campus or the hotel. And, I gladly award an entire extra star for hotels with hooks in the bathroom. On request they will supply special furniture for those in need after surgery.
The lobby and ground floor public areas are stylish but very cold and unwelcoming. More like a convention center than hotel. Despite nation-wide and world-wide clientele no WSJ or NYT newspapers. Hate those foam mattress overlays which raise the level of the bed to ridiculous heights, and are difficult to get out of.
