Econo Lodge Painted Post - Corning

The location is great, the place is clean. Reasonably priced. Will stay in Econo Lodge in the future.

No elevator

It was clean. Hard floor rather than germ- harboring carpet. Staff let us know they were available 24/7 and not to hesitate asking them for anything. Beds were comfortable.

Would have liked to see more protein available for breakfast, such as eggs and bacon or sausage. Also the bed pillows were too flat although the mattress was comfortable.

The cleaniness of the place was great.

It said "hot breakfast" but they only had waffels for the hot part. Also bathroom doors are pocket doors which didn't work well.

The staff was very professional, friendly and helpful. Rooms were very clean .we would definitely return to this hotel. They even welcomed our cocker spaniel and made a fuss over her.

Only thing we didn¿t like was the pillows were too small and soft, but we made do with them even though we knew we could ask for more

Room smells like bats live in there, bad odor and dirty.

One thing I would like to mention is the tubs tend to clog while showering.

Charged me for smoking in room, but I am a non smoker.

Facilities are rather simple and no frills - no elevator, broken computer, etc. Breakfast is also as simple as bread, milk and egg.

The accommodations for the price.

Bfast. Fruit subpar. No name yogurt. Too much disposable styrofoam for everything! Tables n chairs not quickly attended to: wipe down for next guest. I despise microwaving oatmeal in styrofoam.crap cookies displayed in Spunkenmeyer case. HB eggs old sour.

No frills but better than expectations

Although the hotel had many guests, I felt as though I was the only person there. Typically hotels are noisy, walls thin, and odd things happening at night to awaken you. Nothing like that happened here. Breakfast was OK - OJ, waffles, sausage. Nice.

The TV remote took some getting used to. I think the batteries were weak but that's a nit for the price, this hotel was good.

Friendly Staff. Well maintained room. Great breakfast choices. Coffee great. Close to shopping.

Reasonably priced and easy to find.

The shower stall had a very low edge and at one point during my shower, the water started overflowing it...thankfully, I noticed right away and turned the shower off and allowed the water to drain fully before turning it back on

Amazing, accommodating, and understanding staff. The hotel was cleanly and met all expectations.

More towels for guests please. :'( Especially those who use the hot tub rooms.

Price, location

The heater, microwave and bathroom light/exhaust were extremely noisy. I ended up turning the heater off at night to be able to sleep.

Free popcorn and cookies in the lobby till 9:00 pm.

The friendly people, the breakfast selections, the popcorn in the lobby. This hotel is a very good value and it is located very close to the Corning Museum of Glass. It is also pet friendly and has a nice area around the property to walk your pet.
