Location and cleanliness of the room. Room was amazing

Yes, when I booked the room I did not know this was a smoke free property. When I arrive and check in I?m told that they are 100% smoke free property and if caught smoking anywhere on the property that a $250 fine would be charged to my cc. Ridiculous.

It's location to the center of Old Forge.

No microwaves in the rooms, and you have to pay for your room in advance of your stay. Where I stayed last year, they processed my credit card payment when I checked in for my stay. I've been paying interest for months now.

Nothing I was unable to enjoy the room as it was a week passed what I reserved and tried 20 minutes after reserving to stay there. They nor you or my bank would refund me. They would not change the date back one week and wanted me to fork over more money

It was not easy to contact staff by phone. The office was closed when we went to check out. The AC in the room was broken, and there was evidence of water damage on the walls. The faucet in the tub was not secured to the wall.

I paid for a room with 2 queen beds, but was given a room with 2 full size beds.

I was expecting a microwave in room but it was located in common area. We were on the first floor of motel that had a second floor and noise from overhead all nite was awful. 2nd nite they were gone. Windows didn't open and no exterior entrance.

Hotel employee always make my stay comfortable. They are always very kind and helpful. Thanks to Marie for anticipating my needs. Always will stay here. Excellent place to stay.Have come here for many years now.

Friendly Adirondack atmosphere. Good-sized rooms, very clean, beds were quite comfortable! Excellent staff. Hotel is "pet friendly" - plenty of outdoor spaces for dog walking. Nothing luxurious here, just family comfortable. We will stay there again.

The location and price and we were surprised of how nice the room was for being an older motel. We were pleasantly surprised.

We had very nice 2 night visit. Our king room was clean, quiet, comfortable and secure. The manager was most friendly as was housekeeping staff. Pool was comfortable and clean. Hotel employee said she looks forward to returning. ¿¿

Highly recommend avoiding first floor room with a room above it. The people above us were walking around constantly and it was the loudest creaky floor I've ever heard. I thought they might have been teaching bison to square dance up there.

Due to an unexpected medical issue I Requested a room change to the main level & was refused. Even though there were numerous rooms available as it was a Sunday to Monday stay. Also no breakfast as advertised. Very disappointed. Will not stay again.

Location and the indoor pool

Holes in both screens so couldn¿t have the windows open. Wallpaper peeling. Shower went from hot to cold frequently.

I needed to stay in town

It hasn't been updated since the 60s. Peeling wallpaper... gross rugs, stains on blankets.

Cozy in town close to shops. Deer roam around freely. Clean and comfortable room.

no breakfast, no sauna open because of covid but nothing told me that until I drove 3hrs and checked in. No discount. Pool too cold indoors to swim.booked this more expensive room/hotel to use "fitness center" or "gym". None there! false advertising
