East Village is my favorite neighborhood to stay in on trips to New York, so the location is great. Easy walking distance to two subway stops. I appreciated that the roller shade on the window blocked outside light.

Location was great. Room was small but functional. Co-working area was large and had a lot of seating options.

Cons -

Better layout could improve the feel & comfort of the room. I had to climb over my sleeping husband to get out of bed. Shower leaked to rest of the room including water somehow coming up through floorboards? Required resort fee is ridiculous.

The location is close to where I needed to be

I did not like the additional $30 daily charge to spend in hotel I either wasn't there to spend it or there wasn't much to spend it on other than alcohol and I dont drink. Rooms are very small but well appointed. No ice - have to request from front desk.
