Daunts Albatross Motel

It was a charming motel that was clean and the grounds were well kept.

The small town closes entirely at 10 pm and finding food or drink past that time relied on a gas station.

The staff, woman at front desk was so kind

Walls looked dirty and towels were stiff

2 blocks from beach, 5 blocks from restaurants and bars. pleasant & helpful management. Fridge & microwave in room, bar Gas Bar-b-qs on patio with tables and chairs, loungers.

Clean.by the ocean.walk to stores. Price was good.staff dynamite..I will stay again. Call and say hi to staff. She's a doll !!

Everything was quiet and clean...all was good

Cozy. Clean rooms and walking distance to everything in town. Coffee shops, shopping restaurants.

Bathroom is very small. Not much room to move around. Had to wait 10 minutes for someone to show up at the front desk to check in

The room was decorated in a rustic style and was quite pleasant. The staff was very helpful and enjoyable to talk to. The location was convenient as well.

It would be nice if the bathrooms could be redesigned so it's a little larger, especially the shower stall.

I liked the extra facilities in the kitchen area and the walk out balcony which are not usual features in a motel room.

Very close and convenient to town. The winter igloos were a great place to connect with our friends in other rooms. Also dog friendly is a huge plus!

The Motel seemed very clean. They were very nice and easy to deal with. I LOVED being able to bring my dog so that was a huge bonus. The Motel is right in town so you can walk to anything you need and the beach is right on the opposite side.

While the rooms were nice, some things seemed cheap for the price you pay. We had a cheap, old stained tapestry hanging behind the bed which just gave it an old feeling and seemed unnecessary. Also while the concrete or stone floors are a genius idea because of dogs and sand, a throw rug would have been nice because all the stuff getting caught on your feet ends up in the bed so you keep having to brush your feet off for everything. But nothing was wrong that would turn me away from going back. Next time just bring my own rug haha

We loved that everything was walking distance and the hotel was clean and had a double bed with a kitchen and the + was we had a balcony that my dog, sister and I love. We were booked for 2 days, but we stayed an extra day. that's how much we love this hotel. We will be back next year.

Fantastic location, close to the beach and centre. Staff were friendly and accommodating, pool was a nice place to relax. Fire pits were a nice touch for evening outdoor seating.

The property is lovely, very well maintained. Very nice and clean swimming pool area. The location cannot be beat. Grocery store, laundromat and a restaurant across the street. Steps away from the beach and town center.

None of the windows, doors, including bathroom window came with protective screens. We were not able to open any windows and doors to let fresh air in and air it out; otherwise would be full of mosquitoes and other insects. I believe it would be an easy improvement to add at least 1 screen per room.Swimming pool is not heated, water was cold; on a 100F day it would be refreshing.

I absolutely love this property—everything is just so easy. The beach is only a 5-minute walk, or you can relax by the pool all day. It’s super clean and beautiful. The staff are lovely and always ready to help. Right across the road is an amazing restaurant called Birds on the Roof. The location makes it easy to get anywhere. Truly loved it!

I didn’t love that dogs were allowed to swim in the pool. One guest was playing fetch with their dog in the water while I was there, and the pool ended up full of dog hair—which was pretty gross. When I asked about it, the guest said the staff told them it was allowed. Definitely a strange experience.

Loved the courtyard, the pool area, and the location.

I was in room 5 that’s right by the entrance to the motel and you heard all the outside noise. If you’re a light sleeper, that’ll be a problem.
