Cons -

Room was not dirty, but could use a bit of a deep clean. Small bathroom, but comparable to price point.

Dirty carpeting throughout. Extremely dirty windows throughout. Dust build up everywhere. Dirty doors and handles. Ligh switches were grimey. Great location. Place is falling apart. Now the high Peaks main hotel is clean. Lakehouse? Not so much.

Great location, lake access, water sports.

The room smelled moldy. We spent one night and then asked to switch to another room. We were accommodated with a room in the lodge which was much nicer.
