This hotel is close to the Lake Placid Center for the Arts, the six million-acre Adirondack Park, Saranac Lake, Whiteface Mountain and High Falls Gorge, a member of the New York Natural Wonders. - The location is good, but you need a car.
- That it was close to Lake Placid
- This hotel was located very close to the Olympic ski jump and pretty close to town also.
Cons -
- Old worn out hotel. Badly needs renovations or a tear down. Room decor from 40-50years ago. Signs of mold forming by shower, paint peeling etc. Ad misleading, indoor pool not open and no breakfast even though it said so
- Mattress odor was unbearable . Was not able to lay down
- when booking, I opted for a place with a pool, with breakfast included and a microwave in the room. once there, the pool is non-functional. there is no breakfast on site. no microwave in the room.
