Hampton Inn Long Island/Commack

Visiting family on Long Island and this hotel was the perfect location and great value. Breakfast was good and staff was very friendly. Nice diner located in front of this hotel.

Closeness to my family. Bed was comfortable. It has a fridge also.

The TV channels. There was only a few channels to watch. Most just said can’t connect. It was frustrating.

Decent size. Clean room. Located close to where we needed to be.

No closet, you had to hang items behind a blind. No safe in room. We did nit get a cleaning and towel replacement on the 1st day. We called down to get more towels and got them ok.

The landscapers were there starting VERY early in the morning and it was very loud

Hotel was very clean and staff was very attentive.

4 handicap parking spaces near the front entrance is not enough. The showers are a little tight for larger people.

The room was very clean and d the bed and pillows were comfortable. The staff members were professional, helpful, and pleasant.

Bed frame was rickety mattress sunken on one side tv was deplorable channels 22,23 no sound, tv guide didn?t match channels, neighboring guests were drunks yelling arguing all hours of the night after 12 midnight til 2-3 in the morning

The fact that when I called to say I would be there late and they were very understanding and very nice to speak with.

I felt all the people that I came across there was excellent to deal with though I was there a short time to me was excellent.

The location

3 things... 1) we requested housekeeping every other day but never got it any days 2) the fan in the bathroom didn't work 3) the guide on the TV didn't match the channels

Perfect suburban location, if you are avoiding the craziness of NYC but need to go back to NYC. Front desk very kind.

Hair on toilet seat when I first entered. As I checked out, a black trash bag in the main hallway leaking. Another guest asked a cleaning staffer, if he could clean it up. As a former retail manager, that¿s a potential lawsuit & customer service penalty.

Very clean, good sized bathroom. Friendly staff. Located right off the LIE for convenience. I will definitely stay here again. Had a pack and play available for our little one to sleep in.

Pool was out of service (August 2023) during our stay.

The breakfast was lacking a bit in options.

The hotel was located in a convenient location. There is a dinner next door which was very convenient, coffee shops and a nice Italian restaurant within walking distance.

Disappointed that the pool and fitness center were both under renovation ( which we did not find out until after we arrived). There were very little toiletries in the bathroom, no clock and no closet. It took over 2 hours for someone to bring us soap.

It was the closest to the funeral home. It was clean.

No personal touch amenities in the bathroom. Not enough towels and towels looked old.

Under construction and the ¿lobby¿ is a far walk for the handicapped. There are only 2 handicapped parking spots and we had to walk quite a ways to get to the ¿lobby¿ and then to Beth¿s room.

When we got there found out construction going on Lobby shut down We were there with a group of others for a family wedding and had planned to gather in a lobby Workout area shut down Breakfast buffet moved to a smaller room and very limited

Clean and located near where I needed to be

My room faced Lowe's parking lot. Announcements echoed from parking lot to my room every 15 minutes from 8am to 10pm. Not good.

Modern room, clean, quiet and spacious. Loved the fact that it¿s close to many restaurants and 495.
