Pros +
- the statue of liberty out front
- It was clean.
- The price and convenience. Warm breakfast and cordial staff up front.
Cons -
- no elevator
- The room was tiny! I'v not stayed in a room so small in any US hotel. There was no place to hang clothes and very little storage. The pillows were old and thin, as were the towels. The bed had a top sheet and an old, stiff and thin bedspread.
- Everything is very worn and needs to be updated. There seems to be a transient population living here. Like unhoused people who would otherwise be on the street were swept into this hotel? There is a lot of loitering around in pajamas, drinking.
