Hampton Inn by Hilton Clovis

Very nice hotel in a good location. Some good places to eat nearby such as TX Roadhouse, Chili's, etc. Free breakfast was good. This is an unexpected modern gem of a hotel for Clovis.

TV didn't work in our room supposedly due to network issue. But free wifi made up for that.

Absolutely. Fire alarm went off early and did not shut off for a lengthy time. Never any instructions from staff about false alarm, never told it was ok to return to room in our pajamas, barefoot . We all returned to room and alarm went off 2X. REFUND

Staff was just ok I feel like they could have gone above and beyond but did not. Maybe it was short staffed, had to ask for more coffee in all areas of the hotel, no pool towels available, I don't think all our football players ate because breakfast wasn't stocked enough!

Best “breakfast included”. Very clean with good food choices and decent hot food.

The seats in the eating area, they were not stable and the tables. They wobbled. The food was good. But the chairs needed to be cleaned a little more.

The hotel is self was nice.

The staff was lacking. Check-in was laughable. The clerk didn't know what he was doing. Tried to charge me even after I booked and paid in online. However, he couldn't seem to grasp that. He was so flustered with the line gathered that was needing something he couldn't seem to get himself together. He stated that the cleaning staff had been so busy they hadn't had time to wash pool towels and could only offer minimal bath towels. How long does it take to throw towels in the washer while you continue to work on other things and then change it to the dryer. He was on the phone with someone telling them he didn't feel comfortable doing whatever they were asking him to do. He should have been left alone if he was unsure about his job. We had been driving for 10 hrs and wanted a good night sleep to finish another 10 hr drive. However, at 5:30 AM, our neighbor room alarm clock woke us up and continued non-stop for 35 minutes! Even with us calling to the front desk twice, we got no help from the staff and had to bang on the wall to get them to stop their alarm. Not being able to go back to sleep, we got up and got ready to start our day after only a few hours of sleep. The front desk assured us we would be contacted by management about our complaint but still no contact from them and I don't held my breath. They staff was not competent, and I will be contacting corporate.

As always, the room and the people were amazing! I stay here when visiting my dad and am always happy with my stay. They even allowed me to check in early! Very helpful and accommodating!

It was quiet and not by the highway. The beds were comfortable and room was spacious for 4 people. We had 3 adults and 1 child. It was a good value.

Nothing really

Our room smelled so fresh and was very clean…I loved that the hotel had all the bathroom items like liquid soap, shampoo, lotion etc.

We were there for my Dad’s funeral but other than that, no dislikes here!

Very clean and modern

Distance to and from elevators. This was our second stay in this facility. The first stay our room was almost the farthest from the elevators. We both have trouble walking longer distances. This stay was about half the distance from before. There was only one chair, and that was the office chair at the desk. We really needed two. If anyone booking a room with this facility needs more than one chair I suggest you get a king bed suite.

The breakfast was great. Staff was very friendly and accommodating!! Room was accommodating as far as needs for older folks. I liked having that option when choosing a room. Since this was a new build, everything was clean. Ice maker was close to the elevator and we didn’t have to go searching very far for it.

I think the price could have been more of a value if I had booked with the hotel directly. Senior discount? AARP member discount?
