Travelodge by Wyndham Carlsbad NM

The location was good the hotel was clean and the staff was friendly and helpful.

The staff are relaxed and pleasant. That really matters, especially in the morning.

Access is a little awkward off of the highway.

I liked that the staff attending me at a very late bour was very friendly and helpful. That made everything much easier as we were very, very tired.

Stay was great

TV not enough channels Some channels had no sound

Roomy, clean and comfy bed.

There was no water bottles for coffee maker like other places. We had ours we don't use tap water it could damage your coffee maker.

Good location for back and forth north towards Artesia. Staff was great and kindly allowed a late check out for work purposes. Definitely would stay again!

Breakfast was minimal but fine.

The hotel was right across the street from SENMC where I needed to go for a training. The place was clean and good value. The lady at check in was really friendly and helpful getting me a couple extra pillows as requested. The bed was comfy.

A hot breakfast would be nice, but to be honest, for the price I paid I didn’t really expect anything more. I was happy to have some good cereal, yogurt, juice and a bagel.

The Staff

Absolutely NO amenities, breakfast is a kids breakfast, sugar filled, and nothing else. Still staying because there is nothing else because of the oil fields

Breakfast was for kids, exercise room is off limits, NO ice machine because it’s broken, no elevators to get to the 2nd floor so you have to carry everything up the stairs

It was ok at best

The air condition was very loud. The mattress was ok, but not great. The staff was iffy.

Traffic was somewhat noisy late at night

Staff was very friendly and helpful finding restaurants and such. Hotel was in a good central location that seemed to be close to everything.

The breakfast was disappointing. Skimpy even for continental. If you care about breakfast, stay somewhere else. we took one look and headed for Dennys. We stayed at four different hotels on this trip,and this was the highest price per night. all three of the other hotels had great breakfasts, two had cook to order omelets! If the owners think the breakfast is costing too much, they’re mistaken. A bad breakfast offering will cost them customers.

Staff was very accommodating. Room was very clean.

Room AC compressor was loud every time it came on. Fortunately, I didn't need ac in evening. Breakfast was weak. A couple bread items or cereal.

Clean and Corbin at our late night check in was very pleasant and informative. Day shift ladies at desk was quick with check out and breakfast was satisfying. We will be back. Overgaard, AZ

Staff was nice

I am writing regarding my stay from 1.9-1.10.2025. To say I was disappointed is an understatement. Upon checking in I was given a room with a toilet that everytime I flushed the toilet I had to take the back off of the toilet and fix the toilet so that it would stop running. This was extremely frustrating as I had rushed over to Carlsbad for a medical procedure at the hospital across from the motel. I was unable to get a good night sleep due to the running toilet and the heater that would randomly shut off and I would wake up freezing. I paid $107.17 for this very dreadful night of trying to rest before a medical procedure. This was highly disappointing.

Everything was nice and clean

The breakfast was a little disappointing. Not really much of a hot breakfast.

The lady at check-in was very nice. I like that the room was large enough for 2 queen beds. It was VERY clean.

I didn't like how hard the bed was. It was pretty uncomfortable.
