Bolero Resort

staff was great, indoor pool a huge plus for the kiddos in the middle of winter. Also the restaurant in the hotel had great food and live entertainment for the entire family.

Location was ideal.

Stayed at the Bolero on Feb 9, 2026 due to being in Wildwood to help clean up water damage in home from a broken pipe. Woke up to use bathroom at @4 in the morning, when I picked up towel from sink to dry hands roaches scattered from beneath. I immediately turned on bathroom light to see the large ones scatter up the walls and the tiny ones began to scatter as well. I ran back to bedroom grabbed my phone to take a pix and some were still there. I then changed, gathered my things and left hotel. I shook all my belongings outside then waited in my parked car for several hours waiting for person with key to arrive at 7:00 to continue with the clean up in Wildwood. I then went back to the Bolero in Wildwood Tuesday afternoon to show desk clerk the pix that I had taken and to tell him about the noisy exhaust fan in the bathroom as well. He claimed that he stayed in the room next door and he didn’t have any bugs. I replied “Lucky you!” I was told to call back on Wednesday night to talk to Michael the manager. I called Wednesday night and spoke to manager and he replied that he checked the room out and he didn’t see any bugs. (Really! Like the bugs were going to stay in the same spot waiting for him to see them on the bathroom sink.) I told him I have a pix and he said the other guy saw it and wasn’t sure if it was roaches. I then told him I could send it to him. He gave me an email address and I sent it to him. He called me back shortly after and told me that I will be refunded for my stay at the Bolero. A positive from this experience….I did receive refund from booking.com within a week of speaking to the manager.

The restaurant and bar, Staff was friendly and helpful.
