The Doubletree Hotel and Executive Meeting Center Somerset is also located close to a variety of area attractions, including the renowned Rutgers University. Interstates 287 and 78 are also nearby and offer easy and access to much of the surrounding areas. With free shuttle service within a 5 mile (5 mi) radius of the Somerset Doubletree along with 2 on-site restaurants every stay is sure to be enjoyable. Cons -
- Room was 20-30 years old. Air unit was basically sounded like an airplane engine. Not close to a 4 star hotel. May have been 20 years ago
- Parking can be a little difficult late at night. Not a real problem, however.
- Lobby looked updated and magnificent, very surprised when I got to my room and saw how outdated it was, also could not believe after spending almost $--- for my stay, the breakfast was not included
