Homewood Suites by Hilton Mahwah

Great to allow pets unless your room smells like urine! Awful and the staff did nothing. Last time I will stay at a Hilton.

I liked the room was a suite.

My room should have been cleaner. It did not look like the carpet was vacuumed and the window sills were dirty.

hotel is suites so it is very comfortable and they serve a nice hot breakfast included in price.

spacious room, great shower and comfortable bed, really good fresh full breakfast. Quiet area close to highway. Really exceeded expectations

The hotel condition was poor. The carpet was ripped. One couch was ripped and the other couch was old and worn out. The furniture was old and and banged up. Hallway had a bad smell. Housekeeping is not done every day.

Like having a living area and kitchen. Breakfast each morning was good as well.

Room struggled to cool off. It wouldn?t get comfortable until the middle of the night.

This hotel is clean with great staff. There is always someone around to help you if needed. The janitorial staff here are thorough and do a great job. Hot hotel breakfast every morning is a big plus when you have children and are staying for a while.

The breakfast options this time were limited. Breakfast burritos every morning was redundant, and no one really ate it. It's nice when they put the waffle maker machine and have a few different options other than the breakfast burritos w/ pulled chicken.

The manager was extremely helpful. The kitchen chef was very accommodating.

The dishes were not clean and the king bed was uncomfortable. There was a board between the mattress and box spring.

Friendly staff (w/ a dog mate!). Clean room and lobby. Clean bed and linen. Very roomy. Good, clean and hot breakfast. Family-friendly in general.

You can tell the age of the hotel. Well maintained building and room, but some room doors do not close very well.

The hallways smelled of mildew, mold and or wet dog. The breakfast was not hot. It was continental and lukewarm at best. I felt like I was at a 1 star motel. To have paid over $--- for that stay I was utterly disappointed.

The breakfast was not hot and the hallway smell was not a 3 to 5 star hotel caliber.

Room was very small for pierce need new furniture Furniture wasold looking pool was only 3.5 feet deep small pool we checked out after1.5 nights wasnt happy

The room is big, nice appliances too, feels like home!

Requested trash pickup in the morning, when we arrived in the afternoon trash are not collected yet.

Very unsanitary, cat urine all over the inside of the hotel and pet smell in general. The hotel room had bugs in it and stains throughout the room. I made a complaint to the manager and they did nothing and basically said nothing. Worse hotel experience.

Great location and the staff were fine. The room had been treated roughly but was very clean. Also, the laundry center was be helpful.

Didn't realize it was a 1-star until we arrived--too hurried with the booking. No amenities. Two pillows on the bed, two towels each, a bar of soap--the minimum. The kitchen had nothing. If we'd wanted to cook, it would have been impossible.

The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. The room was perfect - had all of the accommodations needed.

I would say the lobby did smell a bit like smoke, but it was just for a moment. Overall I have a great stay!

Breakfast was good.

The room was not very clean. There was a lot of dust on the furniture, the pillows had a funny smell. The bathtub did not look as of it was cleaned before we came in. We were disappointed.

Room smelled of animal urine and even after spraying the whole room down with lysol, the smell remained. Had to keep windows cracked and bought scented air-freshner to try to manage smell. First night there was a water main break and no water available

The Staff were helpful and the Hotel has a Nice Pool ,,, Rooms were nice ..and Barbeque area near pool

There is a New Policy at the Hilton. No Housekeeping - during your stay ,, When you check in the room(s) are Clean.. If you stay more than one day there is no room service ,, Breakfast was a very sparse Continental period. Expectation Fail..
