Pros +
- Proximity to public transportation
- The location and ease of checking in.
- The staff response was good when i called them over phone and giving us the required information.
Cons -
- -small things the hotel could do to make it better: dust the blinds, put a new coat of paint on the walls/scrub the scuff marks & dirt off them, remove extra unnecessary hallway doors, ensure lights and appliances are operational before reservations.
- My room had no remote control for the tv,AC window unit was old and broken, dirty box spring mattress, room was missing trash cans and it's obvious they rent rooms for people to live in. Not safe to have transients and visitors together.
- Can be more clean. Not worth the cost. Drinking water not provided in room and needs to be purchased at extra cost. Pests in bathroom.

Near train
Mouse dead under bed and carpet smelled of vomit by bed
In the middle of almost everything in jersey city
My room was real smelling, it had a wet mat towe. Construction in property It went on and on for almost 2hrs at night. Check in was a night mare he didn't tell me how to get in my room , he was just didn't know what he was doing, thats sad
Room seemed sanitary in spite of some rough edges and stains. Area seems safe, and location is convenient to transit.
Bare bones hotel with some stains on heater and carpeting, amateur signs here and there about policies and such, drywall covering something in stairwell. Some traffic noise.
The best thing was the price for the hotel even though the room was sort of hidden and looked like it was going through renovation.
The lack of cleanliness in the room. It was highly unnoticeable until I searched under the bed to see if I was forgetting anything. There was a cigarette bud and in addition to that, the cabinet drawers weren't complete.
Very helpful and friendly staff Could not really rate the hotel due to renovation Location: 2 blocks from Journal Square Station Hallways need some make up
We are happy staying in Haiban Inn. Good location, as close to Path station to Manhattan, nice staffs and good continental breakfast in the morning. We will come back next year.
Just not that fresh smell in the room.
Proximity to Journal Square Station and restaurants.Hotel room was clean.Full value for money.Staff was friendly.
Bare essentials. At times had to ask staff to repeat what they had spoken due to their heavy Indian accent. Parking available at $15.00 per day. I understand a friend called me but the call never got through. (a phone was in the room)
Address was correct but entrance is NOT. Found entrance on side of building.
Well the hotel is in pretty good location accessibility wise. Within 30 mins from Journal Square one can reach into the midst of NY city using public transportation. Staff was very friendly and room was as expected with the amenities what we paid for.
Air-conditioning and cleanliness can be better but these weren't a showstopper.
Location - Very close to Journal square and in the middle of Indian restaurants. Flexibility - Hotel staff did everything to ensure our stay was pleasant.
Room carpet was slightly worn out.
Good for the price. Clean. Very friendly staff. Near by the subway station.
Air condition is very close to the bed.
Conveniently located. Awesome Indian food around. Close to Journal Square station. Rooms have attached kitchen!
Cleanliness in a room.Hotel location is excellent.
Car Parking arrangements.
The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. We asked for an early check in and were given a room several hours in advance with no problems. We love the location-- it's located on a central street in Little India, and very close to Journal Square.
The room smelled intensely of chemicals and cigar smoke. Worse, another guest was accidentally given a key to our room and barged in while my wife was in the shower. Management apologized sincerely but surprisingly did not offer any discount for our stay
Yes there are cockroaches the place is noisy at night
Near path station
room size too small and 80% of room is filled with bed and tables.
