It was extremely cold

The female receptionist who checked us in around 3pm was very welcoming. The building/room, while old, is well maintained and clean. Impressive pool size and lounge chairs.

The staff at the breakfast can be more attentive.

Every time we left the room we had to get new key cards-all three of us. When they cleaned the room we only had 1 washcloth and 1 towel for 3 of us

The location

The smell of the bathroom, crumbs on the carpet in the room. The noise from the television next door. Housekeeping did not understand english.

Bathrooms were VERY small and hard to move around. Also the heater/air conditioner was about 3 ft from my side of the bed which was blowing directly into my face. I had to spread my sweatshirt over the unit to get to sleep.

Not as clean as I thought it would be The restaurant wasn?t open on Saturday Didn?t know the pool was closed Neighbors got pretty loud

I like the quietness of the rooms.

One of the front desk clerk was very rude in her response to me about the coffee machine at the front of the hotel.

In our room the safe door opened as you opened closet door, hit my daughter's head, told the front desk. Bathroom too small, have to step to the side just to close the door to be able to sit on the stool. Very inconvenient, unsafe.

Rooms and the structure

The person in the Front office was not welcoming and nice (7/21/24 morning)

To start they tried to double charge me right at check in. Once that got straightened out I went to my room and it had a horrible smoke smell. When I went to the desk instead of offering to move my room they just said we will make a note. Etc.

The rooms are spacious wow we loved the shower

Restaurant and pool were closed. Very disappointed

The Area is close to shopping and easy access to major highways.

I did no like the fact that I was 90% sure I had free breakfast for my stay, when I asked the front desk just to confirm she stated that I didn't pay for it, and I replied I'm not supposed to pay for (FREE) breakfast. That was a let down.

Only complaint is complimentary breakfast isn't for everyone and it's not stated at check in, being given a bill after you eat thinking it's free is embarrassing.

Close to where I needed to be

Staff was not polite and I felt like I was bothering him I asked for the manager and he was not there. I left my phone number and have not received a call

The location, cleanliness, and comfort

The location was good and our previous stay in the new rooms was good.

Upon arriving the room was not the same as a previous room we had stayed in. It was outdated and small. We noticed the hot water was not working and called down. There were no other rooms for us so we had to stay as it was late in the evening.

The Breakfast Buffet was Amazing.. lil pricey but worth it

The restaurant and bar are closed on the weekend. Disappointed

Was such a nice surprise to see my name on a sign at time of check in. I was picked guest of the day, such a nice way to welcome and to make their guests feel valued. The warm cookie they gave me was delicious, it was gone before I made it to the room.

Location from Newark Airport, and NYC, price and safe area.

Bathroom Toilet too low to the floor and older heat and air conditioner control.
