The staff was very attentive when I asked for my room to be cleaned. The pool is huge and clean. Really quiet for being next to the Parkway.

Please invest in fitted sheets, I beg you. The plastic mattress covers add 10 degrees to your sleep.

Cozy quaint, good restful nights sleep. Not high style but since I'm a blue collar guy, the place was great. I imagine in warmer weather the grill under the trees is a nice place to fire up some dinner.

So.ebody skateboarding was a bit annoying when I'm trying to sleep.

The hotel served our needs very well, but it¿s like taking a trip back about 25 years. Nothing modern, beds were mushy. Carpets were dirty¿it could use a major facelift. However, it DID provide for us what we needed. We weren¿t in the room much.

The only good thing about the Hyland Motor Inn was the pool. It was spacious and clean.

The room was outdated. That would be ok if the rug wasn't so filthy that it turned our socks black. We were uncomfortable walking on it without shoes. Air conditioner dusty and dirty. Not kid friendly. Would never, ever stay here again.

The hotel is older and has a worn feel to it, but the bed was comfortable (the sheets are functional, but not super high quality) and there was a small coffee maker and fairly large fridge in the room.

The decor was dated, it was like stepping back in time

We were upgraded to a larger room with a futon bed. Also, we left behind a bag that was promptly discovered by the staff and we were notified immediately about it, so we were able to come back and pick it up before we drove all the way home.

Although most of the living area was clean, some things were very dusty. Specifically, the blinds, the top of the bathroom mirror, the lamps, and the kitchen exhaust fan were caked with dust. Also, the patio area was dirty and should be power-washed.

this is a basic roadside motel. cleaner than expected. i really like first floor-drive up. this was great. the bed was comfortable & staff made the extra blankets that we had put on top into the bed. we appreciated that.

It was clean and conveniently located.

The rooms were a little dated,the bathrooms were small, had hard time opening and closing the door to my room. Had to literally Slam the door to get it to close all the way. It made me feel like a Real Jerk Slamming a door in the middle of the night.

Had to change dates and rebook but the rebook didn't show up in Hyland's system. The owner/manager got us in 3 hours before the check in time. She also put us in a bigger room for only $10 more. Sent us off w/ a Christmas box of chocolates so she rocks!

Much better stay than last time; room more updated, very clean and roomy.

The iron left some smudges on my shirt... everything else was great!

The staff was nice.

I brought a towel from home to shower but wanted to wrap my hair as well in a towel. I was skeptical so I opened a towel provided by the hotel to make sure it was clean.A long black curly hair was inside. Tried a second hotel towel, same thing.

The customer service was amazing. I can't stress that enough. Every staff member I came into contact with was accommodating, polite, and so generous.
