The location

They promised a ocean view room and it did not have an ocean view. The sheets were not very clean and the bathroom vent was very loud. The shower curtain was dirty.

Location, cleanliness and friendly staff.

It seemed clean on inside. Sinks, toilet were clean. Carpet looked new. It was quiet at night.

1 Bed was not made properly. Shower curtain needs replaced at bottom or bleached. The pool area was made to look in inviting with numerous traffic cones. Very high rate for what it is but that?s because of location and all biz here overcharge

Location across from the beach

There was no Internet in the room. The person at the front desk said he just started working there. He said he had no one to contact to find out more about the internet.There was no coffee for the coffee maker. No tea/sugar in the room. Mildew odor.

Room was old, couch needs replacement, but Luca toon was worth it

The room was way too expensive. I didn't know or want a kitchenette which made it more expensive. There were holes in the walls. It was dark, old, and the air conditioner was not working properly - it was very cold no matter what I did with

Yes to expensive, not able to use the pool until check in at 2-30. Pool hours are way to restricted. Outside carpet very dirty.

The location is excellent. Just far enough away from the busy areas, but close enough to anything you want. But the beach right across the street...that's the icing on the cake.

The rooms we had showed their age. They were perfectly clean, just a little worn-out around the edges.

The Colton is right across the street from the beach and within walking distance to restaurants and shops. Great location. We didn't use the pool but it was clean.

The Colton is in the process of being renovated. There was some black mold on the ceiling although the room itself was very clean. The spray used to control the mildew smell was overpowering. Had to rewash all our clothes.Pillows very flat. Bed was okay.

The location is really close to the beach and not too far from stores and restaurants. The staff was friendly.

The shower did not work. When we brought it to their attention they said no one could come look at it, it was about 6:30 pm, and there were no vacancies so best they could do was a $20 credit. It is a shame they don't have a maintenance person on call.

Whatan amazing place, we were upgraded to a room that had an Ocean view. The hotel is right across the street and walking distance to the little down town. Definitely revisiting for my Birthday

It is the very basics. No hair dryer, not even shampoo is provided.

We have never stayed in this hotel before and we were very impressed with its cleanliness, comfort and convenience to all the sites we enjoy in Cape May. Easily walking distance to the beach and shopping/sites. Will definitely be back!

We brought coffee thinking there was a coffee maker in the room, but there wasn't. At discharge we were told all we had to do was ask as the office had plenty! Oh well, next time!

For a budget hotel, the location is wonderful directly across from the beach.

The rooms are tired and it could use paint and furniture, but it was very clean.
