The calm atmosphere and the friendliness of its staff.

Offering a breakfast would have been nice, but there were enough alternatives near the hotel. An elevator would certainly make it more accessible to elderly or disabled people, but preserving the historic character is very important too.

The hotel was quiet. Great ambiance. Clean. I loved the convenience to coffee, etc.

It took forever to get hot water and there were no top window cover/curtain/shade in the bathroom.

Convenient location, clean, quaint hotel, with no children policy.

Too many stairs, which is tough on older guests. Being an older building, walls are very thin. Checkout at 10 am could be a little more flexible.

Location is close to beach but does not compensate for the negatives

Small room. Very small bathroom. Small ac unit. Hot in room. Lots of steps. Ocean view blocked by sign. No pool. Paid 950 for 2 nights. No coffee in room or lobby. Won¿t be back, do not recommend.

Close proximity to the beach and local restaurants and shopping, ability to park in the hotel's parking lot before actual time of check-in

Check-in is at 3PM but that check-in time is not guaranteed. When I arrived, I was told that I would receive a call from the hotel informing me that my room was ready for check-in. I never received a call and didn't check in until after 4PM.

Proximity to the beach and ocean. Just a short walk from town. Mini golf & arcade next door! Restaurant and breakfast shops below! Couldn¿t have have asked for better location!

Due to age of structure, the walls are very thin and sound travels through easily.

The bed was a little firm and the walls a little thin but it¿s also a converted house and bed firmness is completely a personal preference.

Friendly staff. Very clean room and premises. Convenient parking. Beach towels for available guests. Great location.

Toilet ran continuously. No place to rinse off sandy feet before entering hotel. Window curtains couldn¿t be fully closed due to window a/c.

The location was great. Right across from the beach and in the middle of everything.

The staff, when they were there was not friendly at all. No staff and an open front door from when we got back at 9:30 pm and a sign said they wouldn't return until 9:00 am the next day. Was also disappointed the restaurant was closed.

Great location, and excellent parking option.

No elevator! It's difficult to carry luggage up and down all those stairs. The hot water took forever (5 min. of running the tap) to arrive in the shower in our top-floor room. No toiletries. No restrooms on the ground floor. No breakfast.

Old hotel has a problem with moisture and has a mildew odor

I love this room. It was gorgeous and clean. The staff was amazing and the front porch was nice. I willl be staying here again next year!

No everything was really nice

Very old but nicely maintained hotel. Location is great.

Beach view is somewhat obstructed . No elevator . Room is absolutely basic. Only a small fridge and a tiny TV.

It was located directly across the street from the beach and in walking distance from shops and restaurants. It has a cute, vintage-y vibe.

The room has a musty smell that comes with being an old building. Just bring air freshener!
