Whitneys Inn at Black Mountain

Location and room were not as pictured or described at all. No food, hot room. Not a good experience.

Room was cool, vintage stable vibe.

Outlets occupied by hotel items-had to set coffeepot on floor & unplug ac to brew. Bathroom was unpainted in places, with very limited hanging & shelf spaces. Staff was unavailable when we had questions-we did wait. Kitchen runners by door all evening?

Location. There?s a restaurant attached to the hotel.

Out dated. Very small bathroom. Toilet ran slow. Hot water was warm. There was a $44 resort fee that I was not aware of.

The location is close to Jackson xc. Mountain setting. Beautiful grounds.

Room 5 standard queen is tiny. Barely room for 2 people . Room us very uninviting. Very brown. No charecter. No breakfast.

Was located at the base of Black Mountain, easy ski on/off.

Pub was only open 4 nights weekly

The suite was perfect! Gas fireplace, fridge, microwave. Cozy overall with nice views of the ski mountain.

Close to our final destination. Charming, clean and staff was extremely welcoming.

Tv never worked but we didn?t spend much time in the room. Just wanted to get updates on hurricane milton- but we used our phones instead.

The nearby pub had wonderful food and live entertainment the night we stayed.

The room was a little outdated and it was rather noisy (we were the first room at the top of the stairs and heard everyone coming and going throughout the night which was difficult with two small kids)

YES...YES When we arrived we were told that there was a resort FEE that had to be paid. A FEE for nothing as everything was closed & should have been disclosed before arrival. We will go back for vacation but will NEVER stay at this rip off hotel.

Stairs.resort fee charged in addition to price.no mats or handrails in shower .no continental breakfast as stated on website .was told new owner changed things never changed as isn't really a bed and breakfast

Stayed in a suite and it was nice and cozy. Absolutely loved the restaurant on property! Food was amazing.

Yes, the hotel room was dirty, dusty and looked like it hadn¿t been cleaned in days. There were wasp nests on the window. Flies in the bathtub and bathroom sink. The window sills did not look dusted in months. The ice bucket in the hotel room stunk so bad

Quiet and peaceful place to stay.

There was a wedding and the restaurant/pub was closed for the private event. Pool was not available.

Not really a 3 star but a very cozy inn. Rustic but very nice. Staff is great. Don¿t expect the Hilton but a great place.

The Staff was excellent / and the Room & Bathroom was clean ! The Location is Beautiful and close to many attractions...

NO- Really had a great trip and will return to the Inn

I admit I was less than thrilled when I pulled in and there was a wedding party waiting for the reception to begin. I had visions of loud partying all night long. BUT all was peaceful and I enjoyed my quick one night in the country! All great!

I was tired when I checked in, and the restaurant was closed due to the wedding. Front desk was apologetic and there were other places within ten minutes drive to go to...albeit busy due to Labor Day weekend. But I got food, and breakfast at inn was good!

Charming decor and comfortable bed. The breakfast was satisfying. Helpful and friendly staff.

It was unclear as to whether or not breakfast was included in the total price. The shower did not drain properly.

Other guests were loud opening and closing their room door without consideration of close quarters of others guests.
