Enjoy everything North Dakota has to offer while staying at the MainStay Suites, located adjacent to the Dakota Square Mall. This hotel is within walking distance of 80 retail stores, 12 eating establishments, a nine screen movie theater and the YMCA. Minot has many attractions including the Roosevelt Park Zoo, the North Dakota Fairgrounds, Scandinavian Heritage Park and the Dakota Territory Air Museum, all within six miles of the hotel. Additional hotel amenities include free continental breakfast, free coffee, free high-speed wireless Internet access ad high definition televisions. All spacious guest rooms offer work desks, well equipped kitchens with coffee makers, cookware, utensils and dishes. Business travelers will appreciate the on-site business center and access to fax and copy services. This property has cold weather hookups and a newsstand. Ample parking is available and can accommodate most vehicles.

- Location and the set up of the room.
- Bathroom was dirty. There were hairs on the floor, tub and soap dish. Heating in the room was off. Breakfast ommelettes and potatoes were overcooked and dry. There was a lot of snow accumulated around the entrance doors and parking lot.
- Location, Amenities and Price were all excellent.
Cons -
- The tub in the bathroom was dirty. The room has a kichenette and there were dishes left in the dishwasher and food in the fridge.
- No pool available.
- The hotel could stand to be scrubbed from top to bottom.After several years of oil-boom traffic, followed by a very significant slow-down, a lot of dirt has accumulated in the corners. I noticed it in the elevator and in the bathroom of my suite. A shame
