The Comfort Suites Southport - Oak Island and Caswell Beach is located just 30 minutes from Fort Fisher/ Kure Beach by ferry and three miles from the beaches of Oak Island. It is minutes from area attractions like the Orton Plantation, the North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher, Bald Head Island and the USS North Carolina Battleship Memorial. There is a golf course three miles from the hotel. Guests can enjoy several antique shops and specialty shops in the town of Southport. A variety of restaurants are located in the surrounding area. Free hot breakfast is provided and for guests that are leaving early, a breakfast bag is available for the two hours prior to breakfast. - The staff was rude and argumentative. Housekeeping never cleaned our room during our 4 day stay The staff booked our room without our knowledge on the last day and didn't communicate this and we were forced to remove all our belongings at a moments notice
- The curtains would not close all the way.
- The bed was creaky. The pancakes were hard. The eggs were hard. The bagels were stale.
