Hampton Inn Rocky Mount

Location and the bed was very comfortable. I love the breakfast.

The hotel needs a remodel , but the big negative for me was people have smoked in the room over the years and the smoke smell is strong when you walk in. The rugs need to be pulled out because that’s the only way you’ll get rid of the smell.

Rooms are clean and the front desk friendly. We didn?t stay for breakfast.

My wife always wants to stay at a Hampton Inn. Nice hotel but a little off of interstate 95.

Entire staff is fantastic The woman who manages the breakfast area is unbelievable. Constantly cleaning and making sure all items are well stocked. She s a tremendous employee with a great attitude and personality

the room was dirty with dead bugs in the drawers... the bathroom sink would not hold water...

Requested a non smoking room, due to daughter having asthma. We got assigned a smoking room and entire 4th floor reaked of smoke. We did get assigned a different room for remainder of stay.

The staff. Everyone was so nice and helpful. The woman that makes the breakfasts (which were very good and a lot of variety) was the best. Such a hard worker making sure everyone is happy and kept things very clean at the buffet

Why do I always get stuck with a handicapped accessible room? Also, I think some updates could be done. It looks a bit old.

Person checking us in seem to take awhile an we had booked the rooms prior to our arrival.

Oh yes. The room noise based on air conditioner an refrigerator. I couldn¿t sleep, the noise from those kept me awake. Room was nice and clean but those appliances made noises throughout the night that kept me up an exhausted the next day.

Slow checkin. IT problems with making key cards. Also stayed on 8/10/23, slow checkin again, problem with computers and credit card readers. Women at counter were annoyed and not welcoming whatsoever.

We liked the access off of route 95. The room was good and the breakfast was better than average. We would stay there again. The staff was very friendly.

The only thing that wasn¿t the greatest was the mattress. That was my wife¿s only complaint.

The beds were comfortable and the shower was very good. These are two of the most important aspects for us. The staff was very nice and accommodating

The bathroom could have had a deep cleaning. The baseboard was dirty and so was the overhead light fixture. This always makes me wonder how clean the bedroom was even though you can¿t see some of these things.

The hotel is a little outdated. The room looked old and fixture hook in the bathroom was broken.

I left the item in the room went back to retrieve it and was missing I'm assuming staff took it

Perfection from location to room decor to bedding to staff! Including meals and drinks at the attached restaurant was a special bonus we loved. The whole place was so charming! Highly recommend!

Having to leave

Under the pullout bed there was old tissue, a lollipop and cookies. The hotel was not the cleanest hotel and some of the staff was not accommodating

The shower plumbing was terrible. Unable to have a bath as the plunger to push down on the water faucet did not work. In fact the water faucet had come loose from the wall. A tired Hampton Inn.

The staff were the friendliest and most accommodating I have ever experienced. The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was great.

The room needs updating - tiles in the bathroom were old, chipped, and not sparkling. But it was comfortable.

The hotel was clean and our rooms were nice and comfortable. The breakfast staff and maintenance staff was friendly and kind and always willing to help.

The lady working the front desk was rude and not accommodating. As a family of 5, We needed two connecting rooms. I called two days before to ask for connecting rooms and she was very rude on the phone and unwilling to help. She was there when we arrived.
