The staff was at best hard to find.Cable didnt work and TV was only snowy. Hot water temp was not controllable.

Room was clean and mostly had been somewhat recently refreshed.

The exterior is very run-down. Parking is iffy.

The mattress on one of our beds was quite sloped to the middle

Staff was great, very friendly gave us great ideas on were to eat and visit.

I was expecting a "Deluxe Double room with a private entrance" king size bed was very old with impressions were everyone before us slept and you just fell into them. Not impressed at all and would not recommend this Hotel to anyone.

room minimal furnished with very little absolute minimum outlets, one chair, no kleenex,no carpet,few lights for reading.

Staff and central village location were great

No natural light, noisy a/c. It was a basic box room. Shower kept going hot and cold.

Room appears much larger in pictures than what it really is. Very small room. Also at check-in lodge did mitt accept American Express. That should have been advertised on the site.

Great location. The bed was comfortable.

The bathtub was not fully cleaned which we realized when we turned on the jacuzzi function. There was a dark water that spewed out and eventually left a ring around the tub. Also, there was a coffee maker in the room, but no coffee or filters.

The room and bathroom were both small, sparse, and very grim. Couldn't wait to leave. Way overpriced for what we got.

The STAFF!!! So helpful with restaurants and things to do. Also we liked location-off the busy road but not out of walking distance to things. Golf carts available Rocking chairs on large front porch. Game room and pool very nice. Would stay here again

Outside could use a paint job but inside is beautiful. No breakfast but have tea and coffee.

Location and it was very quiet. It¿s definitely an older building but I liked the charm it had.

The staff was friendly and the location was very good. The hotel provided free internet and free parking but don't be the last one in for the night. We stayed 2 nights but should have stayed only 1.A good experience but more activities on other islands.

It definitely was not a Holiday Inn or Marriott but a rather quaint hotel which fit in with the surrounding area. I booked the motel rather late not knowing the what the weather would be like.

The staff were very helpful and super friendly.

The only locks on the room were on the door knob and a chain link from the wall to the door. The walls are super thin so you can hear everything in the next room.

The room was super musty. The floors were very spongy. I felt like I was going to fall through the floor. The bathroom toilet felt like it was going to fall through the floor.

Location: It is in the heart of Ocracoke and everything is easily accessible on foot or the normal mode of travel, golf cart.

Room was lacking a hair dryer and alarm clock which I considered to be a non issue.

Charming ... not run of mill chain .. that captured flavor of island.

Internet way too weak.

The manager called me as soon as she realized the weather was bad and I wouldn’t be able to take the ferry to the island. She didn’t charge me for the room. Great communication.

The maintenance man and that worked the front desk. Hotel employee was a pleasure to talk to and shared interesting facts of both the island and the hotel. The maitenance man was friendly and a pleasure to talk with too.

Nobody in the Lordy to check in when we got there. We waited almost 30 minutes
