The Pineola

Pros +

• Main lodge area is fantastic for families, kids, or couples.
• Loved the cabin feel of our room. It was clean. Staff was friendly and tap room was very neat.
• The motel is charming. I really liked the decor: gazebo, rocking chairs out front, plaid pillows, rustic look. This place is made for family and friends to gather and socialize. There are seats outdoors with firepits, games, indoor game rooms, etc.

Cons -

• Only bad thing was we wanted to use the tub in our room and the hot water ran out before it filled all the way up. I would still stay here again though. It was very nice.
• The bed was supposed to be queen-sized. I did not measure it, but it seemed more like a double. Mattress was too soft and I rolled toward middle all night. Air conditioner did not keep the room at selected temperature. Too hot in room.
• The add showed towel art in each room. I was disappointed that I did not have any in my room. The maid could have met our needs a little better. She threw out items I needed and that were neatly placed. She did not replace the coffee or coffee cups.
