Courtyard by Marriott Greenville

Pros +

• The people there were great. Check in check out was a breeze. The hotel had a food grill. For shaving supplies they had them gave me some. I had forgotten mine. Hotel was being renovated. A slight problem.
• The room was nice and clean. However there were missing light bulbs in some areas and no microwave. No noise on the 3rd floor No foul smells as some hotel have.
• Room was large

Cons -

• I did not like that we could not open the windows on the second floor. I felt that was a major fire hazard.
• The view from the window was over the hotel large garbage dump area trash everywhere! It almost made me vomit! Talked to hotel staff. They didn't give me a choice to say I didn't want the room if they only use it if filled. Appeared a bit racist!
• Constant smell of marijuana. Not sure exactly where it was coming from, but don¿t think it was residents because we stayed two nights and smelled it strongly very heavily during the day hours and again in the evenings. Disgusting smell-made me sick.
