Oceanview Inn - Emerald Isle

It was close to the beach and walking distance to a lot of stores/restaurants

The bathroom was small

Friendly staff, CLEAN room . Close to great Mexican restaurant, restaurant at the fishing pier. A very laid back atmosphere !

Location, last minute vacancies, laid back with parking, early check in and late check out.

To be expected some water damage to flooring, some trim, and the front door. But it probably takes on a lot of abuse with weather and beach goers..

The location was great. Convenient to everything and just a short walk down to the beach and Pier. The staff was great.

The cleanliness of the room upon arrival could have been better. The bathroom trash can was dirty.

An unusual number of threats about charges for everything.. pets, smoking, fishing coolers, stealing ,extra guests, check out times written everywhere (made it uncomfortable to use the shampoo lol)

We walked in pulled out a chair the arm fell off, told staff to remove never did. Second day went back to room had new towels but old ones were left, garbage was left and beds weren’t made!

The rooms were clean and updated, beds were very comfortable and the staff was extremely friendly. Have driven by this place before and never stayed as on the outside it looks a little "cheap" but the rooms will not disapoint. Right by the beach!! A++++++

Arrived around 7pm and for was locked. Had to wait outside about 10 minutes for the clerk to get back to check is in. For $--- for 2 nights stay I was really disappointed that this hotel didn't have continental breakfast or a pool.

Everything was as expected. It's not the Hilton, but the room was clean and stocked with clean linens, and the customer service was excellent. The location is wonderful with the pier and beach just a few minutes away on foot.

Walking distance to fishing pier and other places. Decor was nice and room was clean.

No water pressure. It took forever to shower. TV remote needs replacing. Mattress as wells as pillows were hard.

Super close to the ocean. You can see it from the hotel and its a short walk to the pier and beach access.

The price for Labor Day weekend was excellent, especially considering the location to beach and pier.

The shower water pressure was basically non existent.

We ended up packing our things and went home. Wasn’t there an hour and they wanted to charge a full day.

Nothing. The room was nasty. Beds had sand in the blankets. Toilet and shower were not cleaned. Pillow had hair and lint on the front and backside. Dirty foot prints on the wall beside the bed. Strong odor in the room. Wanted a refund and the front desk clerk was not accommodating. Our view was a trailer/camper park. It was not sea view. We ended up packing up and going home. Very disappointing.
