Comfort Inn Elizabeth City near University

The room was very nice. No carpet was a Big ++++. Beds were comfy and everything was clean.

Hotel?s building outside and inside isn?t in the best shape. Only one elevator on the one end of the long hall so lots of walking. Elevator had a sign saying that there was a problem with it.

Dirty floors. Dirty bathroom. Noisy hallway/guests. Awful bed!

Vynil pealing off chair, watered down orange juice. Poor heating/cooling, hair drier didn?t heat!

Hotel has been recently remodeled. It's not high end but they make efforts to keep it clean. It doesn't have carpet or heavy bedding so it's easily maintained. It does have hot breakfast daily and friendly staff. 7eleven in walking distance.

Location and friendly helpful staff.

horrible strong marijuana odor at all hours, room next door having domestic issues and screaming from 12am-2am until staff got involved. We got no sleep between the constant smell and the neighbors yelling and throwing items against the wall

Staff was all very friendly and helpful. The hotel is aged and worn, but the staff obviously works very hard to make it the best it can be. If you are simply looking for a place to spend the night, this is a good choice.

Its old and tired and could use a refresh. Not a great part of town.

disgusting mess. filthy walls, carpet, bathroom ,used sheets,nothing working! phone, tv, or remote,even picture frames disintegrating! Non existent management , front desk useless. Dead insects, sticky floors

The front desk actually. They were so friendly and accommodating. I am from out of town so I always had questions-they were so kind and patient.

the fitness room was slightly outdated. They are currently renovating the hotel, so hopefully they update the equipment(maybe a peloton!)

We had crickets in our room chirping all night. Bugs flying around the t.v.and the showerhead dripping. Not a place I will stay again!

Location was close to the university. Which was my primary reason for booking.

There was a SERIOUS ant problem. The staff was advised of the problem but nothing was done to correct the problem.Will not be returning to this location in the future.

My room was clean and I felt safe. The staff was friendly and very informative.

The staff were very friendly and willing to help. The breakfast was good. The beds were comfortable.

The room's walls were terribly scuffed up and the lone chair was fraying at the bottom. We could not figure out how the tv cable worked. It used two remotes and the cable one didn't work even with a change of batteries. So we had to settle for one station

The employees are all terrific!! The rooms are great comfortable and clean. The breakfast was good snd I have never seen one so well maintained.

We had to come home and couldnt stay longer.

Room was in poor condition. Next to 7-Eleven so people loitering near parking lot. Lobby small. Breakfast was terrible.

The hotel was unsanitary. Our room was propped open. People had been in the room. It was dirty. The hotel offered NO alternative. I had to ask for clean sheets and remake the beds myself. The toilet dirty, there was garbage on the floors .etc...

IT was awful. I have called corporate. I will be filing a complaint with photos to the health department, CDC, and the Better Business Bureau. This needs to be rectified ASAP!

they could done better for the breakfast, I understand not having some of the things, but no fruit, on Sunday you could not even have instant oatmeal. Left both morning to eat. One of our rooms did not have hot water on Friday night
