NEWLY renovated and rebranded hotel. Entire hotel renovation featuring modern lobby, luxurious guestrooms, all public areas and restaurant. The DoubleTree by Hilton Charlotte City Center is located in the heart of the finance + entertainment district. Within walking distance to Spectrum Center, The Charlotte Convention Center, Bank of America Stadium, museums, dining and entertainment. Guests will enjoy the newly renovated guestrooms featuring all new furnishings, soft goods and glass spa showers. Each guestroom is appointed with a mini-refrigerator, laptop sized safe and coffee maker. The in-house Italian restaurant concept, forchetta, is open for breakfast, dinner and full bar/lounge. The property added a grab and go marketplace, The Financial Grind, that proudly brews Starbucks coffee.

- Cookies warm were amazing and staff was super friendly!
- The staff were professional, fast and helpful!! The valet staff were quick and engaging, even while extremely busy out front of the hotel. The gym on the top floor was fantastic, with beutiful views of uptown Charlotte.
- THE LOCATION
Cons -
- Idk if the parking was included in the information provided when I booked but it should be. I thought I was getting a deal at $109 which ended up being $134 with taxes and fees and then $32 for over night parking so actually a total of $164!
- Parking but to be expected in downtown Charlotte
- This is a minor thing, and has nothing to do with the appearance or the staff of the hotel. The Peloton bike in the gym the seat was not adjustable backward or forward, the handle for the adjustment was broken. Also the handlebars squeaked too loud.
