So many things to consider as the best for The Windsor, but i loved the decor and rooms. IT far exceeded what i saw in the photos.

    Beautiful room

The wooden floors, while gorgeous and historic, make it difficult to sleep when people above you are walking around all night in their shoes.

Very nice and comfortable. Clean and very nice staff.

    Parking two blocks from hotel!

Loved the vintage vibe. The floor plan is well thought out and feels like a luxury apartment. Lots of storage space and well equipped! Liked all the dimmer switches for ambient lighting.

Parking off site, but that is to be expected when you are right downtown.

We loved this little gem! Check-in with Liam was easy. Free parking nearby was clearly explained. Our bedroom was cozy and quiet. The living room smartly faced the street and we enjoyed all the windows, wonderful furnishings, and interesting art work. Super location - with all sorts of interesting places to eat and drink within walking distance. Loved the local ground coffee and coffee maker that were provided. Also the complimentary waters and juices in the lobby fridge were a nice touch, as were the robes in the bedroom closet! We should have stayed longer! We would definitely stay there again and for more than one night! Discount on Bitlmore tour tickets was also nice!

The place oozed with character. I felt I was in an upscale hotel in Europe. Upscale artwork and fixtures throughout the room/apartment and the whole building. Bed was majorly comfortable and shower was amazing.

You are right in mainstream downtown Asheville, so parking was a short 2 blocks away, but not a major problem.

Great location, nicely decorated and staff were extremely nice and helpful.Very clean. Will definitely stay again.

Only negative is they need better mattress on beds.

Great location, large rooms with full kitchen

Each room was just terrific. It's so nice to have both a bedroom area and a living area. The kitchens offered coffee makers and full size refrigerators, everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. Plenty of room for 2 people to watch television after returning at night. The refrigerator stocked in the lobby with water, cokes etc, to take up to your room is just so nice and so much appreciated. Just a great experience

At this price point it would be nice to have larger bars of soap. Those little soaps are so easily dropped in the shower and a pain to retrieve. Also you really need to consider a bath mat in the shower or a grab bar. One of our guests was 74 years old and to step over the tub into the shower with no grab bar and no shower mat is really unsafe.

Absolutely stunning from the Decor to the way they make you feel you’ve stepped back in time. Loved the art gallery and staff as well. The hotel room was more like an apartment loft over looking downtown. Can’t wait to return and can’t say enough positive things.

Location. Close to shops and restaurants.

Parking is not on property, but in lot a block away. It’s free which is a plus.

Outstanding experience at The Windsor Boutique Hotel in downtown Asheville! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel right at home, warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The location couldn’t be better, with amazing restaurants, cozy coffee shops, charming bookstores, and plenty of nightlife all within walking distance. It’s the perfect spot for exploring the city, going for a morning run, or simply soaking in Asheville’s vibrant downtown energy. The rooms were beautifully designed. spacious, clean, and full of character, blending luxury with a cozy, historic charm. A special highlight was meeting Penny and Wally, the hotel’s adorable dogs who add so much personality and warmth to the place.Whether you’re visiting for a weekend getaway or an extended stay, the Windsor offers an unforgettable blend of comfort, style, and southern hospitality. Highly recommended for anyone who loves boutique charm and top-notch service!
