    Pros +

    • The balcony on the river & the separate living area
    • Clean and convenient. It's not a romantic getaway LOL. But it's exceptional for hotels in this class - except for the breakfast - the powdered eggs are quite bad - but who cares - when you need a low cost place to sleep/rest when travelling it's perfect.
    • Location

    Cons -

    • I wish smoking on the balcony wasn't allowed. My neighbor made it unpleasant for us to be outside
    • They were waiting outside my door when it was time to check out. Although it was 30min before check out. Made me feel rushed & uneasy
    • The powdered eggs at breakfast are just terrible - I mean terrible - might as well no have them there

2nd shift front desk lady definitely needs some coaching on the proper way to great guests. No hello, welcome not a word. Just looked at me. Strange. I had to speak first. "Reservations for Smith".

    Location

The cleaning crew left my door open all day ! I mean the door was left wide open after me working 12 hr shift and my belongings in the room was very scary. The front desk guy just walked me in to make sure no one was in therewaiting on me.

Cleanliness and convenience to lots of shopping and restaurants.

The pool was kind of small.

    10CarolynPosted on: 6-22-2025

I accidentally left my phone in the room. The front desk lady went up and found it. I so appreciated her extra effort. She called the car driver after she found it. I had asked if it had been turned in but the room had not been cleaned.

They charged me extra for a dog that was never in the room and only held in my arms outside 250$ extra and never said no pets either

250$ charge for a little chihuahua that was never in the room

Comfortable bed, great water pressure, very clean! Excellent value for the price!!

The hotel was nice and clean. Great location and the staff were very friendly. Had a simple but nice free breakfast. 5 minutes from the Biltmore Estate.

I?m the only issue with the hotel was the traffic noise. Our room was on the front side of the hotel facing the road and the road noise was loud and constant until after 11pm and started again around 6am.

    10Verified guestPosted on: 4-14-2025

    It was clean

Parking was tight and tricky. I wish all the listing would indicate floor level. I want ground level. Used to be able to see what floor the room were on I would like to see this detail back on your listings.

Breakfast was great.. easy to check in and out. Texas roadhouse is next door so you can walk right over.

    Noisy air conditioner.

    10Verified guestPosted on: 12-23-2024

Front desk was very friendly and efficient. The room was a great value for the money.

Only problem was getting past the traffic at the Texas Roadhouse restaurant when I was trying to leave the property.

    10Verified guestPosted on: 12-21-2024

Location was good. Local restaurant can make the entrance and exit of the hotel a little bit of a challenge.

The hotel is attached to a Texas Roadhouse. Pretty popular place. To leave the hotel or enter the hotel, you have to go through the parking lot of the Texas Roadhouse which can be challenging at times.

    Breakfast was good

Spider in bathroom No ice available

    9EdelinaPosted on: 9-21-2024

Proximity to the Biltmore estate was closer than I thought! My room was recently renovated, my tub was perfect!

The traffic noise was bothersome. My door/ room faced the street on the 3rd floor. I heard loud motors roaring past even at 3am. Bring earplugs! Also , entering the drive to Texas Roadhouse made it tricky since it is uphill to Clarion.Cautiously enter!

    Great options on breakfast.

Entrance into the hotel was awkward and parking.

    5Verified guestPosted on: 7-24-2024

Location, breakfast was good. Breakfast crew seemed to be a bit grumpy but other staff seemed nice

Bathroom was very small but not that big a deal. We would rather have inside rooms but it was still quiet around us.

    10JacquelinePosted on: 7-9-2024

Very clean hotel with extremely friendly and helpful staff. The room was comfortable and the location was great.

The breakfast room can get pretty cramped and the parking lot is a tight squeeze.

    10BrianPosted on: 6-10-2024

Super Comfy Beds and a personable staff. I stayed at both ends of my North Carolina trip last week and lost a sketchbook/journal in the parking lot. When I returned they held it for me!
