This is a scam. They had a sign on the door saying closed because they had no water. No refund still.

It is a Hostle in West Asheville with Mars and entertainment right next door.

The house/hostel had a bad smell, like musty onions, and seemed to be in a risky part of town. I wasn¿t even there for thirty minutes until I cut my losses and booked another hotel.

They say the staff lives in the basement after hours in case anything is needed but the night I was there, getting hold of the staff seemed hard. They did not respond to emails and the phone number given was for the reception desk which was not staffed.

The room type/description in my confirmation itinerary was not the same as the room I received.

The easy walking distance to shops and restaurants. Very comfortable rooms and so affordable!

The location was perfect. I was there to get a tattoo and traveled all the way from TN. I loved roaming through Asheville, it felt like a second home to me. The community is incredible and I definitely want to come back!

The location is excellent, but the inside of the hostel doesn't disappoint either--the kitchen was well equipped and all common spaces and bunks were clean, and there was a lovely lived-in charm to the whole space.

The location is amazing. Easy access to food and entertainment.

It was never a problem but we were always nervous about limited parking.

I loved the funky, homey vibes, and the location was incredible. The staff and all the other folks staying there were also super nice.

I’m not sure if either of these can be helped, but I would love better parking and a better outlet situation in the private room. There was only enough outlets to plug two devices in at a time and I found my plugs had a difficult time staying in the outlet.

I liked the location, and the cleanliness. My main requirement when traveling is I don’t need a lot of bells and whistles but I do want cleanliness and to feel safe. This place checked those boxes. I also liked the location. It was close to a couple coffee shops and places to eat.

I felt very safe as a solo female traveler. my bed was comfy, the house was so cozy and not too noisy and the location right on the Main Street of west Asheville was amazing I loved exploring

I’ve always loved coming to the Hostel no complaints I had in the future but my last experience on this past Thursday night I was in the dorm by myself I had felt asleep to wake up to a man standing over me I started panicking asking him why was he in a female dorm he start to apologize telling me it was a mistake I just couldn’t understand how he book a female dorm without realizing what he booked it in the confirmation message that it’s a female dorm and it also has a poster on the door that say female dorm I went to find the lady that I guess the manager to ask her could she change the code because I felt unsafe at that moment and she refused to change the code ?I was so afraid to go to sleep after what had happened I’ve never in my life experience anything like this I been going to this hostel over 5 years I’m so torn

I made friends with fellow visitors at the hostel. The staff are kind, and the hostel is easily reachable by bus. The space is comfortable and inviting, too.

The nakedness on the back porch. The jar of condoms in the restroom. The parking is ridiculous. The neighborhood is drug infested.
