    Pros +

    • Clean. Comfortable bed.
    • Great set up with two rooms, walkable to main street, great staff
    • It was clean, the price was very reasonable, the desk person was very nice and eager to get us a less expensive rate. The restaurant was happy to have us even at near closing time, the meals were very good. I'll be more than happy to stay there again.

    Cons -

    • Very thin walls. I could hear every word of the next room. The front door screen had a big tear. The outside light did not work.
    • The breakfast service at the restaurant was terrible. Poor greeting, burnt toast, comment by waitress was something like "uh hu", no coffee refills and it just got worse from there. No phone, m Ok nowadays. Toilet paper holder fell off wall, not repair
    • Nothing bad but was not like most 3 stars, but better than 2 star for sure. Still 75 miles to west Yellowstone

Had a problem with the electric heater but I let the desk know and hopefully they can take care of that issue.

Hotel staff is horrible. They charged me more than what I booked for the room and when I asked, they told that we are going to charge high price regardless of what you booked for and I cannot do anything about that.

Very reasonable, clean, comfortable and quiet. The food was very good and the location in Ennis was great - away from the downtown mess. We will return to this property whenever we're in the area.

    8Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 7-4-2017

Staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

The rooms could be a but cleaner, cobwebs and walls etc.

Complete amenities available from a small casino to food and beverage service. Casino was a nice diversion. Breakfast was excellent!

    3Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 9-19-2016

Easy to locate and central to our activities.

The noise. Also a lot of appliances plugged into one outlet.

    9GaryPosted on: 9-4-2016

Liked the rustic atmosphere. Also the restaurant.

just wish the restaurant stayed open later.

Affordable overnight access to Yellowstone. The restaurant and bar had good food and entertainment. (Great steak).

I didn't realize I had booked a tiny cabin; a bit claustrophobic. This wouldn't work to well for a family but was OK for one. The only real complaint I had was the shower was so tight that you couldn't really get water to all body parts.

Location. Staff in restaurant & bar were nice.

Hair all over the shower & covering the drain (had NOT been cleaned!!) The room had not been vacuumed either. We stayed 2 nights. We were told they "don't straighten up or make the bed for guests that stay over".

Small motel and location in small town, with grocery store in walking distance

    Can't think of anything.

    2AlbertPosted on: 9-16-2015

The bar and casino area were nicely decorated and clean

There were light bulbs out in the bathroom, the curtains were torn and not hanging on the rod, the TV channels were in "green" and fuzzy, there was no continental breakfast served, the entire cabin needed updating badly, the bed was very uncomfortable

    9KathyPosted on: 8-12-2015

The room is old but clean and inviting. The management was very accommodating and friendly.

was difficult to find the office. Had to go into the casino to register for the room

    2RodneyPosted on: 7-27-2015

    It kept the rain out

The restaurant had a fire and was closed. The check in was in the bar. There were 2 plugins, the lights were broken and hanging but did not catch fire or spark and did sort of work.

The location was perfect for attending the Moods of the Madison music festival and walking downtown.

The room was very dark and mattress was lumpy. Expected that since this is a sportsman's lodge. But they didn't make bed or replace toilet paper in bathroom. Only replaced towels.

    3BarbPosted on: 6-25-2015

The location was delightful, the staff was very accomodating

Only 1 electrical outlet, insect nest in the bathroom, missing light bulbs in lamp and bathroom fixture, no cold water pressure in sink, chain for toilet float broken, had to flush toilet by hand.

    9Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 5-25-2021

    Great location, friendly staff.

    The bed.

    The smell of the room.
