Cascade Hotel, Kansas City, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel

Pros +

• Very pretty hotel, had few different food options on site and even some walking distance away. However, I felt that they were not catering to business travelers since none of the food vendors opened until 7am, not even the coffee vendor!!
• Modern feel and great rooms
• Location, accommodations were great.

Cons -

• They currently have no restaurant but a new one is coming soon.
• The entry door to my door kept sticking really bad. I mentioned it to the staff downstairs, but I was there a whole other day and no one had been up to fix it. Also the showere water temperature was very finicky.
• Housekeeping entered our room at 10:30pm, waking us. Later, someone from the staff called to confirm we were in the room, again waking us up. They had our room marked as vacant. Was told the manager would call us to apologize, but they didn't.
