OYO Hickory House Inn

The room was disgusting. Comforter had certain stains all over it from "adult activities" and cigarette burns all over it. Toilet seat was falling off. Heater was falling apart, and generally filthy and worn down. Left immediately and went to elsewhere.

It was infested with roaches & smelled horribly. There was a fridge that didn't work, no microwave, & the bedding looked like it hadn't been washed since they got it.

Nothing - We couldn't stay it was so bad. They did refund me my money the next day.

The room was disgusting there were broken lamps, missing light switch, words spray painted on the wall, hair in the bed. The floors looked like they had never been swept. And they tried to charge me $---. I felt like I needed a shower after walking in.

I reserved Non smoker, but bed cover had over 100 cigarette burns. Refrigerator was non working. Nice tv, but no electric cord to reach outlet.

Best part was checking out.

Sticky floors. Black mold in bathroom with tiles missing. Yellow stained towels. Toilet leaking. Fridge smelled of sour milk. Party outside around the cars. Worst experience of my life. You get what you pay for.

The Cleaning Lady was also the Hotel Host and made a mistake and charged me twice for the room. They need more people to work.

Room nexto me was a live in, 2 gals 1 guy, fighting all night long!

Live ins were very noisy!

The King size bed. And the shower had good pressure. But the bath tub had no stopper in it, so you couldn't take a nice soak in the tub If you wanted to.The shower rod also needed fixing.

Nightstands had some kind of greasy substance all over the top. The toilet had dirty water in it. The floor looked nasty.

When we checked out!! Hotel is nasty.

This is not even a half a star hotel! This hotel is nasty & disgusting. Very dirty. The owner unplugs everything in room. So it’s super hot in the room. Toilet had no set or cover. Dead & Alive Black crickets in the room. Blankets are dirty.

I like to stay at the mom and pop type of places where you can pull right up to your door. This was was like that. The owners checked me in and were very helpful. I will stay here again if I'm I'm the area !!

The price was right. The beds were very comfortable. The staff was hospitable, even with us arriving at 3 a.m.

The room smelled strongly of cleaning solutions. Breakfast was very, very basic, with no seating available. Even at the lower price, it seemed there could have been a few more items available for breakfast and a table or two to sit at.

Close to local restaurants and shops, which made things easy. Room was decent, clean linens, and hot water worked well.

A budget-friendly option near the highway. Nothing fancy, but comfortable enough for business travel.
