Economy Hotel Kansas City

The room was absolutely dirty. There were several attempted repairs that looked like a third grader tried to attempt the repairs. I went to hang a backpack off of one of the hooks on one of the shelves and it fell down and cracked me in the skull.

It's run dwn, rooms dirty, mngr guy starts calling & banging on door @ 15 mins til 11:00. Then he stands outside of room & watches you. He's EXTREMELY rude & argumentative.

No microwave or frig in room. Management wants to count towels when yu're leaving. Stands outside of door when getting thngs together. Just rude

There was no hot water for the shower, the bathtub paint was busted, my son cut his foot trying to shower in cold water, the ac didn't get the room cooled down. No fridge or microwave & dirty towels that still had other people's hair in them.

Location

Had a smoking room...no ashtray. Room had nothing to get ice in. Morning desk person was very rude.

Shower didn't work correctly. Refused once again to return deposit stating the room smelled like smoke. We did not smoke in the room.

The staff was very rude and careless , I had 2 roaches in my room and they refused To move my room

The only good thing was its location. Place should be torn down!

Door to room was not very secure. There was a hole in the bathtub. The lighting was hard to turn on once you were able to locate it switch. There is a 50.00 deposit(to make sure you check out)on top of what you pay for a room that's not worth any price.

It was a clean room staff was very nice cameras are on site felt very safe would definitely stay again

The rooms were not clean and in a solid state of disrepair. There were holes in the walls and floors, stains all throughout the room. There were cat hairballs on the comforter, a big bulging "pocket" above one of the beds. Needless to say, we did not stay

I liked nothing.

There was a gape in the door that we had to stuff rags in to keep warm. The heat wasn't even on, it took five hours to get the room warm. there was no ice bucket in the room. We did not have a do not disturb sign. There was dust in all the corners.

I could hardly understand the staff and the room was dirty and the towels were too small to use after a shower

The non smoking room that family stayed in was decent.

Everything.The bedspread and sheets were filthy. The slide bolt was busted,so we felt unsafe. We asked for a different room and there wasn't any.we asked for clean sheets and he said that he didn't have access to get any. Different hair everywhere.

Price

Very insecure room. Locks not good. Hole at bottom of door. When I checked out room would not even lock.

It has no breakfast, no coffee maker in the room, no microwave and the walls need painting and doors need to be replaced.

It had great prices very clean room big and spacious. And right off the interstate.

I haven't received my $50 deposit from that night so it actually charged me $--- for my room. I've called and asked about it they said well we refunded it and nothing further. The door was letting alot of cold air thru, the seal needs to be fixed.

Did not have a mini refrigerator, the bathroom fan didn't work and the bathtub definitely needed to be refinished.
