Cleanliness, comfortable and supportive mattress and loveseat, quaint, beautiful gardens .

Keurig did not work and staff did not offer another option.

The shower and bathroom are very small¿ The floor had a lot of sand or dust on it

Professional and courteous staff; loved that a Keurig was in the room; extremely clean, as if remodeled the day before I arrived. Beautifully landscaoed; bed was very comfy! Separate bedrooms was a bonus!

Pillows were average. Shower was a tight squeeze, but perhaps I could lose some weight. Other than those couple of minor shortfalls¿I¿ll be back.

Awesome quaint little motel! Owners were super people who take pride in their investment! Beautiful flowers surround the whole motel! Definitely be coming back next time we¿re in the area!!

Great price for a fresh clean room. The host was very welcoming. The room functioned well and was very clean. Bed was comfortable. We enjoyed classic name and design of this motel. Johnnie's next door was convenient and delicious and reasonable.

This is one of the VERY BEST places we have stayed. The owner is very helpful and nice. The rooms are spotless and have great amenities especially for charging all these devices that are part of our daily lives

A Mom & Pop motel with comfortable room with a bit of nostalgia and modern conveniences at a fair price. Beautiful flowers surrounding motel. A very friendly and helpful man at check-in!

This is our 2nd time staying at e sunset motel of st ignace and we are still very happy with it!

The traffic can be a little noisy being right off US2, but usually that's just if a semi truck is going by.

Motel was very clean and updated. Owner is small business owner. He and his wife and family live on the property. I love supporting local business. Their flowers are amazing!

Need to add more rustic/vintage amenities for the price such as fire pit or local bakery items. Even a nice local gift shop would be appropriate.

The host were outstanding. Even called me tge mornjng of our arrival and ask if we needed anything and that they were looking forward to our business.

Great value-very Clean. Loved the flowers outside and the clocks with the extra plugs!

I thought overall it was a decent place to stay, it was very clean and the outside sitting area was so relaxing with beautiful flowers everywhere.

The owner was SOOO awesome. He was so helpful and friendly!! We have stayed at many motels;The Sunset Motel is the best motel we have ever stayed at. They are super cycle friendly/knowlegable we'll refer them to everyone we know going to the UP!!!!

There was nothing we didnt like. It was SUPER clean and they even made our bed and straightened up when we went exploring for the day!! Hotel has a fire pit for evenings and a yard game for daytime....its a GREAT MOTEL!!

The owner was very friendly. This was a holiday weekend and the price was wonderful. Room was clean. I liked how they had little microwave "bowl" that we could use for our snacks. A little thing, but very appreciated

Room was small, but, all we needed was a place to sleep. It is on Highway 2 so it is kinda noisy.

Take a step back in time with this quintessential motor inn. Very clean, comfortable with excellent staff.

For anyone frangrance sensitive be aware!! Strong, sweet fragrance in room. May be just laundry products but I was happy I brought my own pillow. Couldn't have done a second night. Great place ... heavy fragrance.

Super clean.Even though it is not part of a chain, it has been very well maintained.The proprietor was the best.He was helpful and answered all of our questions about the area, the ferries, restaurants, other sights to see. He had coupons too! Great stay!

There really wasn't anything I didn't like. Bed could have been a little softer.

The motel was extrodinarily clean. The bed was comfortable, the A/C was quiet. Even though it is an "old school" motel, it even had a mini fridge and wi-fi. The owner greets you at the office, and gave us help advice on ferry and dining options..
